Description
For sale is my custom mecha-themed PSP GO. It includes the original box (has documentation but missing the plastic holder or whatever else the console came in), the official carrying case with the cardboard it came on, the charger/USB cable, the component cables with box to hook the system up to a TV (the system has Bluetooth and you can sync a DualShock 3 controller to it to play on a TV with component inputs), and two games, Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core (action RPG) and Jeanne D'Arc (turn based strategy rpg like the old Shining Force games). It also includes a Sony brand 16GB Memory Stick Micro M2, which is worth $200 alone on Ebay. Since this system is digital only, it does not have a UMD drive to play the games, however I ripped them and put the ISOs onto the system. The system has custom firmware, 6.60 PRO-C. Upon cold booting the system, you need to run Fast Recovery under games to activate the softmod, however if the system is kept charged and left on this doesn't need to be done again until the next time you cold boot it.
The screen is covered in a bunch of tiny scratches but when the screen is on, even at the lowest brightness setting, you cannot see them.
The decal is from decalgirl.com and it has a matching wallpaper and theme.
There are quite a few plugins loaded onto it that are useful if you enable them, one is active already to allow for a lower brightness setting than is possible on stock firmware. It saves battery, and a full charge should last about 3 1/2-4 hours.
It includes emulators but no ROMs. The emulators are:
DGEN lite: Sega Genesis
Snes9xtyl: Super Nintendo
PC Engine: emulates the Turbografx-16 and PC Engine
Race!: Neo Geo Pocket Color
MAME4ALL PSP: Mame, arcade games, mostly early ones like Pac Man
PicoDrive: Sega Genesis
MVSPSP: Neo Geo MVS (Arcade board from the early 90s, had stuff like Samurai Shodown and Bust-A-Move)
NesterJ: original Nintendo (NES)
MasterBoy: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Gear
gpsp Kai: Game Boy Advance
CPS2PSP: Capcom arcade games like Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom, Giga Wing, etc.
CPS1PSP: Capcom arcade games like the first three Street Fighter II games and Final Fight
Final Burn Alpha LB: Again, Neo Geo games but this one emulates a lot of other arcade games as well
I think with everything included, the price is fair. I am asking $325 so I make $300 after shipping and fees. A PSP Go alone with the box, charger, and carrying case is worth $150-200, and the rare memory stick it uses at that capacity sell for $150-200 alone, and usually are Lexar or Sandisk brand. And it includes accessories with original packaging so I am taking a loss, but I am also open to offers.
I am selling it (or trying to) because it never gets used, I do all my PSP stuff on a modded Vita and PSTV now. Also, softmods are legal, emulators are legal without roms, and the isos of the games are legal backups. This is according to U.S. law at least. The Go has no UMD drive so the discs can't be played directly on this system.
