Certainly a powerful CPU that completely undercuts Intel's offerings by a huge margin price wise. It is a little more expensive this generation but it is to be expected. A. Cutting edge tech and B. AMD know full well Intel at this point are no competition. I think that kind of CPU is only justifiable if you are a creator of some kind, and a hardcore one at that. I am not upgrading this year, or for a few years for that matter as my TR will last me a good while fortunately.

I mean they easily could had put 8k USD price tag on it, everybody who needs it would still buy it, it simply annihilates the competition.

If they were to copy the years of Intel's crazy margins, you are not wrong ! Intel really did show themselves up recently and I am just talking about their margins and ripping off consumers off but also resting firmly on their laurels.

Intel's top of the line CPU that is a lot weaker in dual socket configuration costs 20k USD, with a price of 8k USD they would still beat the heck out of Intel on value ;)

They certainly would, but luckily AMD see an opportunity to stay on the good side of the consumer. If they upped it too much then they would certainly be called out for it, at least AMD are smart enough not to pull an Intel with their margins haha.
