Overclocker 'Elmor' has pushed his Core i9-10900K all the way to 7.7GHz, or exactly 7707.62MHz -- on all 10 cores of the Core i9-10900K. Elmor kept his Core i9-10900K processor cool enough for the huge overclock with liquid helium cooling, and throwing 1.194V into the chip.

...I saw that earlier...but 1.194v @ 7.7 GHz ? I know liquid helium is great for oc'ing, but...

...most likely, it had some power-saving feature kick in. In any case, great achievement by Elmor ! Looks like the ol' 14nm +++++++ still has some life in it

Not a bad achievement. I don't think that 14nm node could be optimised any more at this point lol.

They haven't fully finished optimizing the process of selling consumers the same CPU over and over :)

Haha yeah, I will give it to them, they are certainly the king at repacking a product and reselling it as a new super awesome piece of hardware.
