Killshot: MSI’s Shady Review Practices & Ethics

It is a real shame that there past mistakes have not been corrected, leading to the same poor practices here and now. With this behavior spanning across multiple reps over a good distance of time, one has to assume that these poor ethics are part of the MSI Rep training. Hopefully they can correct this behavior.

lol,I,and others,had to fight with their forum people on the msi gaming app for the gtx 900 series cards. They had to release FOUR updates after the released update broke it (it was causing high/constant cpu usage of 4-6% @ idle). It's STILL broken as it doesn't offer the full set of features it did when I bought my card. They moved the RGB lighting control for the 1000series & up over to mystic light & left the most basic in the gaming app for people with older cards. They STILL can't keep up with Windows updates,half the time I wait 5-6 months to see if they worked the bugs out of their updates. It's sad that Afterburner is supported better than the MSI Gaming App.(said app lets U switch your card from silent,to regular,to O.C. settings)and half the time it doesn't even open,or it crashes. Here's the thread I started, the 1 I found and was several pages of arguing & showing proof that the update didn't work is no longer there.
