  • [IGN] Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed to November 19

[CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed from September 17 to November 19.

In a letter from CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwiński and head of studio Adam Badowski, they explained how "ready when it's done" is "not just a phrase we say because it sounds right, it's something we live by even when we know we'll take the heat for it."

That is a bit suspicious, but I do imagine it's to polish the game up a bit more. I'm fine with that tbh, I'd rather wait another month than let them release a broken game with a 50GB day 1 patch.

Yeah I have always been a fan of game studios holding off for release if it means I get a better experience for it first time round...after all it is what you pay for.
