A $416 USB drive claiming to block 'electric fog' from 5G turned out to be a generic $6 drive covered in a shiny sticker

How can people actually buy these things without @ least checking them out? And the conspiracy freaks pour money into this but won't believe the true facts.:(

They're 128MB (yes, MB, not GB) flash drives. The tweets from people who think they're real are hilarious.

"but did you really test it properly"

"but did it make you FEEL better"

"it wouldn't work because you removed the nanolayer"

etc.

I don't know how people can be this technologically impaired.

I very much enjoyed reading an article on this yesterday. It is disgusting how people prey on the uninformed, but on the same token reading this as a person with a tech background...it hurt me.

Whenever I question the intelligence of society in general, my answer is soon to be provided

lol

Next we'll be seeing ads saying "Will unlock your usb's 5g blocking ability for $79.95." or books on how to jailbreak your usb so it can block 5g.

This would unfortunately...not shock me one bit. The scary thing I see people all the time on social media who believe that 5G is evil, so I would imagine these people would buy those USB's and the future books you speak of. It really is the age of information with plenty of misinformation, I am sure it is getting worse.
