  1. Hi E, I'm Neuro's wife. I've been lurking here for a bit and was a member of the prior forums since 2012. You have put in your time and your health and ultimately you come first! I've been just so impressed with all you've done over these years. There are definitely large shoes to fill. Thank you for keeping this hobby enjoyable and allowing us the opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts across the globe. All the best in your next chapter in life, B
  2. We met briefly on video chat! I'm bummed to hear you're stepping down but hope our paths cross again.
  3. Not sure it warrants such a significant price increase lacking a disc drive. I have a disc console for bw compatibility, and RDR2 looks great on the OLED. I don't need to see Arthur Morgans nose hairs in 60 fps 4k.
  4. Love the color combination. Not too gaudy and quite refined.
  5. Ublock on the browser and i have a private dns for adguard in Android.
  6. posting my keyboards~ KB brand, switches, keycaps, and orings Epomaker Mini Cat 64 Kailh Box Pink Epomaker MIA Black O-rings Yunzii YZ21 Kailh Box White Macaron PBT Yunzii/Keynovo IF98 Kailh Box Pale Blue Popkeey Cinnamoroll ThreeBulls Red O-Rings GMMK V2 Fullsize Kailh Box Navy XVX Great Wave Off Kanagawa WASD Blue O-Rings
  7. Neuro listed the consoles we own already but I've got a banger stuck in my head:
  8. I'll admit that overclocking is DEFINITELY my kryptonite... but i have a feeling neuro will want to buy one of the first batches of chips since he's been dealing with the 2nd ccd not boosting for over a year. but the chip has also been stable for over a year too. I'm like flux and want to just wait.
  9. hate to break it to you, amd of course covering their asses after we've complained to high hell: given this, id rather wait and see what the first batch of chips yield and then we can figure out what to do. as you said, it's stable now and much more practical versus just a single need for boosting. i care more about the stability and longevity versus boosting. not just saying that. i understand I'm prolly going against the grain with the motto of the website but we have a pretty decent chip in there now that's being air cooled.
  10. the hard monopoly Ticketmaster and Live Nation has on venues and how they shaft artists.... damn pearl jam warned us of this 30 years ago. my data was compromised in the supposed hack but it's at least 8 years old.
  11. awesome hobbies you all have! I'm boring and read a lot. my goal is to do a book a week. currently reading holly by Stephen King. used to be into (though i get nostalgic sometimes): -bass guitar -skateboarding -online mmorpgs -fighting games (didn't play in tournaments) occasionally: -current rpgs (still need to finish TOTLK, I'm interested in the new assassin's creed) -retro games actively: -reading -gardening -watching movies with neuro
  12. I appreciate that, i use my android 14 tablet indoors and needed an ereader for outdoors since lcds can be quite difficult to read in the sun. i mainly check books out from the library but got calibre to handle the epub management.
  13. can confirm, but still waiting on @Fluxmaven to model the potential bikinis
  14. we have another stash in my office closet. couple of custom keyboards, our pixel 6a boxes and 2 used lg v60s along with random usb cables and screen protectors. I'm bummed lg doesn't make phones any more.
  15. I'm a huge book worm, and read the last 30 books on an android tablet. the weather's nice now and i want to read outside on my deck now. just bought my first e-reader. I don't want to be tied to amazon and their nonsense. i previously bought a boox tab mini c but my issue was i was trying to use it as a tablet and e-ink refresh rates just don't meet that use case. kaleido 3 also is not comparable to carta so I'll take the b&w. the reader also has overdrive built in so i can check out books from the library. while not a totally open source reader, there's a lot more i can do with this than with a kindle so looking forward to getting it.
  16. anyone run ghostery? i know ublock origin is sort of the same. noscript can be cool too but it locks down sites
  17. ooooo how are the grizzly blends?
  18. Yeeee! Hi Luke and Michele!!
  19. Neurotix has an EK AIO after seeing them reviewed here. first and last purchase for sure. I've mounted it and unmounted it a couple of times and it's decent. I also respect E's stance on the issue as well.
  20. Haha yes he has shown me some of these. thanks for the welcome.

    Hello!!!

Hi everyone! I'm @neurotix's partner. Long time lurker first time posting. I used to be on OCN as well, but stopped after someone thought I was just my partner giving him rep since we were on the same ip at home. I don't do the benching or whatnot but I'm Joes hands for building rigs. Anyway, happy to be here (willingly lol, Joe signed me up on Firefox since the captcha doesn't work on mobile). Contrary to popular belief Joe has positive things to say about you all so happy to be here. -B
