Oh shush you. Fortunately the damage wasn't as bad as I though. Still going to be about $1300 in replacement parts.
-
That's exactly why I have to have it. This thing doesn't make any sense and I want to get a close look at the PCB to see what's going on here before I install it.
-
Partially because the usb-hdmi adapters keep overheating and dropping signal, and partially because this GPU is really stupid and I have to have it.

Oh damn, good catch. I am going to be running 1080p monitors so it shouldn't be an issue (hopefully). We'll see how it goes I suppose
-
Getting an upgrade to my monitor configuration. Not able to get better monitors yet, but now I will have 3 monitors for my work computer and 3 for my personal desktop.

Hey sorry for the radio silence again recently, just got started with the new job, and finally getting settled in my new location. Definitely still interested in kicking things off again. There are some specific details regarding the podcast that we should probably have in a private discussion, but I am definitely willing to get it going again! I elected to switch over to the livestreamed podcast at some point, as my favorite part of the old OCN podcast was joining the voice chat in the old teamspeak, and live contributing to the conversation as a viewer. I would absolutely be willing to entertaining recording the podcast in a live setting again, and setting some baseline guidelines for how the hosts handle the conversations. The Q/A suggestion is also a fantastic one. For now, I will reach out to a couple folks privately to work out some details, and will provide an update here once we work a couple things out.

Clearly I don't know how to read or see because I am just now noticing the Eva themed keycaps. This build looks absolutely amazing!

I am still shocked that this thing is running as good as it is, all things considered. I would check to make sure your suspension isn't mounted backwards /s

Engineers invent vertical, full-color microscopic LEDs
Simmons replied to bonami2's topic in Technology and Science
Really curious about the color accuracy regarding the stacked LEDs. My biggest concern being that there would be some form of lensing or color distortion due to the various colors having to be stacked on top of each other. However, if they can pulls this off and still maintain accuracy, this could definitely lead to some breakthroughs in terms of VR and AR applications. -
GAME: Ban the Above User for a Reason - EHW Edition
Simmons replied to Simmons's topic in Chit Chat General
Banned for not banning. Come on man it's not that difficult -
We will be removing that requirement, no need to worry. The bulk majority of OCN related content will be removed, effectively giving EHW a much larger server in the long run. The plan for this migration is a general rebrand of the server, and OCN specific channels and chats will either be archived or removed. The end goal is to have the OCN server essentially modeled after the current EHW server. We do not have all of the details hashed out just yet for the migration, but any specific requests that you all have, we will take in this thread.
-
Yes. @iamjanco I would strongly suggest moving your boosts over to the OCN server once we begin the transition process. We will not be shutting the EHW server down immediately, so there will be a bit of a grace period once we establish a timeline for the migration.

That is exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
