    Do it. 4070Ti is a solid 40% faster than the 2080Ti. Definitely a much bigger jump than you would get from water cooling anything you currently have.

    NVM, customer decided he wants to go with a used 3700x... which I happen to have... so I guess I'm going to sell him mine and upgrade to the 5800x. Wasn't planning on upgrading my CPU but the customer wants to go this route anyway, so I just have to pay the difference which is about $100. Still not really sure it's worth it just to get a bit more IPC, but it's a done deal now.

    No nothing changed. I assume you have TPM (or is it TMP? I forget) enabled? 
     
    Perhaps windows's ability to detect your hardware settings improved? Or it could just be that not all the drivers needed were WHQL certified for win11 yet.
