Microsoft's battery replacement policy and ability to acknowledge issues on their devices are pretty abyssmall. I grabbed a surface book 1 because it was half price (open box missing pen) which made it competitive at the time. While it has served me well, until recently, I don't think I'd get anything else in the line.
