The problem with Mobil gaming is most people that play mobile games are Casual Gamer, and most of them are families, and people want to waste time to and from work. There are hardcore mobile gamers, but you rarely see them on forums. I personly only play 2 Mobil games Pokemon Go, and Lineage 2 and i only play them when I'm bored or waiting on somthing.

lol, U give Win 10 too little credit. My Dell Dimension 3100 has been able to run 3 OS from Microsoft halfway smoothly. XP,7, and 10. The others(Vista & 8/8.1) were so much worse I had to use Linux mint. Mint IS better than 10 on many systems, especially my optiplex 160 with the atom CPU and sys graphics.
Personally, I don't like Windows anymore. I only use it because I play and edit as many games as I do, so I need it. My Laptop has Ubuntu installed on it, and i have to say I like that OS a lot better. It looks nice run smooth, and it's just a lot more secure.
There was a lot of customization you could do with XP manually or view utilities such as TweakUI and others. Windows 10 does not have as much customization but still has a fair bit. That being said, most of the modifications I make are for performance/usability reasons. I tend not to play with the GUI side of it, as I am fairly happy with it.

Windows 10 is somewhat forgiving hardware requirements wise, I have been relatively impressed thus fair when running it on less than stellar systems, still does a pretty good job.
"There was a lot of customization you could do with XP" is an understatement since there was noting on, XP you couldn't customize from what i remember. But anyway, I'm not really a fan of windows anymore i only use it for the same reasons i use YouTube. There is nothing better.

XP was undoubtedly one of the best that MS produced, followed by Win 7. I'm even a fair fan of Windows 10 assuming you minus the telemetry aspect etc. It is still a reliable OS. If you combined the stripped-back nature of XP with the advancements of Win 10, that would be great.
What i love about XP is that you can customize everything, and i mean everything. Want to customize booting screen sure go ahead, there was nothing on XP you could not change. I don't feel the same with any other windows after XP. For me, PC stands for a personal computer, but how can you make anything personally if you need a 3 part program that uses PC performance to change how windows ten looks and runs.
You should have seen my Laptop back in the day.
This is the only video i can find of one of the Laptops i had with XP on.
i can't find the video i have where i had changed the Booting screen and some other stuff. But even this good looking Thema tells you the difference between XP and ten. i Know you can easy Change windows 7 Booting screen you just more limited since you can use win7boot to do it. But windows 10 is to much work to do so, and I'm not even sure how it is going to look.

Good old Windows NT! Some of the school computers were running that beast lol.
HAHA. Windows NT from what i remember is a Server Windows from back in 1993? It was a really Bad OS. It may be good for its time, but I'm an XP fan i loved that OS. I had a guy ask me to install NT on his computer. I think that was in the mid-2000s, 2008, or close to that. I was like What is this? Go out and buy XP instead of this; it's too old to work today.

What's more, mind boggle is i had a PC like that... i think it was in 2008 or close to that. It had a speed button that makes it go from 60 - 80Hz with a big 4GB HDD in it that was big a heavy with Windows NT on lol. i bet you could play Wolfenstein 3D on it.

True, they were certainly smaller back then. I think the smallest game I remember playing was Lemmings at school on a floppy disk.
Sure feel free to post keys here. I will, at some point, create a freebies section as well for this kind of thing.
Welcome to EHW
Thx.
I played a lot of games back in the day like "Paperboy, Winter and Summer Games to C64" and "Zelda, Mario, Battletoads and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES." i think i owned most consoles over the years.

i may end up with free Steam keys at one point can i post the keys in here so first come first serves.
I remember when games where like 6-10Gb...those were the days. Then again its all kind of relative. Back then broadband was still in its infancy....so it still took ages to download lol.i remember when games were smaller than 2 Mb "Commodore 64."

As long you use NVIDIA and Intel, then Ubuntu is good i have not had a Driver problem so far for standard drivers. My problem is gaming support for Linux. Steam has a built-in program that Emulates all games on Linux, but it doesn't work with all games, but most. I have played some games on Linux, but when it comes to gaming, i would rather use Windows.
