    If you don't have any issues, then you don't need to run it manually. It will run on its own after every 2000 hours (IIRC) of accumulated usage.
     
    I've got a 55" C9. I ran the refresh manually just once to clear up some image retention. Otherwise I have let it handle the refresh automatically.
