FANTASTIC review of the case and fans (pun intended). Very professional and thorough. Nice work, Brother @RageSet.

That is a really nice case, too. It looks like the front glass panel is hinged rather than screwed or snapped to the chassis. Is that accurate?

A trend with rear chamber cases seems to be moving the PSU up from the bottom and having it kind of centered on the rear I/O panel. My O11 XL EVO is like that as well. There are pros and cons to it. I don't like that the PSU partially covers the CPU back plate access hole with the PSU positioned there. But, otherwise I think having the area beneath it open has some benefits.

The front glass panel is on a hinge. You can take it completely off (unlike the 680X RGB) if you want. I can see a company developing a distroplate for this case if it popular enough.  Thanks for the kind words brother!

Very good review @RageSet  I didn't know you was an RGB snob🙂 But the nice thing with most chassis you can remove the blingy bling or disable it. I'myself have an Corsair box (1000D) but prefer not to use any of the iCUE LINK ecosystem that follow Corsair products. I hate such type tech. All in all Corsairs boxes are built very well. So it seems this chassis follow same path as for Corsair's older pc chassis. Again, thanks for a very good review. Thumb up from me.

Yes brother, I am an RGB snob but only as a compliment to custom water cooling. Thanks bro for the feedback!

Today, we delve into the realm of dual-chamber PC cases with the Corsair 6500X. Heavily inspired by cases like the Air 540, the Corsair 6500X delivers modern PC amenities while embracing new motherboard standards.

Motherboard manufacturers are pitching a future with little to no visible cables. MSI, Asus, and others are developing motherboards with reverse connections; common connectors like fan headers, and 24-pin are contained on the backside. The current challenge is that most of the available cases on the market are incompatible with these proposed, competing standards. Corsair's solution is to develop cases that support all of them. Courtesy of Corsair, we've been provided with this forward-thinking case and several RX120 RGB fans. Are these products right for your next build? Let's find out.

Corsair is a pioneer in PC cooling. From their introduction of MagLev PC fans to custom watercooling parts, they have components that fit all of your cooling needs. Corsair is now setting its sights on the premium high-performance air cooling sector with the launch of the A115, provided for this review. The Corsair A115 will be pitted against one of the top air coolers on the market, the Noctua NH-D15. I believe Corsair's goal with the A115 is simple. That is, to have the highest-performing air cooler. The question before us is, can Corsair deliver? Read on to find out.

That is such a neat case.  Really great review of it too.  I'm surprised how much power you were able to pack into that tiny little thing.  And the layout, the layout of that case is so unique.  You were right, nothing at all like most ITX cases.  That looked fun to build!  🙂

Thanks bro! It was a joy to build in. I am thinking about replacing the 12900KS for a 13900KS or 14900K. As for the GPU, all of my 3090's are watercooled, so I can't add those. The only air cooled cards I have are the 6800 XT and A770 16GB. This PC build is definitely going to be in the background as a set piece when/if I create videos.

Thanks for sharing. I'm currently using an ITX board in an ATX case, been waiting to make the jump to a smaller case, but not a cramped case, for a long while. This case won't be the one (just personal preference) but I appreciate the reviews and I agree that ITX doesn't need to be a <10L box.

Thank you for reading the review! I wrote this review as an SFF noobie for the SFF noobie. I jokingly claim I am a long time member of the "Big A** Case Alliance" and I never understood the hubbub of SFF cases until this review. While I won't be surrendering my membership in the BACA anytime soon (Lol), I do truly understand the merits of SFF builds.

The Small Form Factor (SFF) concept is taking the PC industry by storm. Cooler Master is no stranger to the SFF market with the releases of the Q300L V2, Masterbox NR200 series, and more. Cooler Master newest case goes beyond those designs. Introducing the Cooler Master Ncore 100 MAX. A case that will allow anyone to build an SFF PC that can beat any console on the market while having the same footprint as an Xbox Series X. With an included AIO CPU Cooler and PSU, the Ncore 100 MAX will be on your SFF case shortlist! Many thanks to Cooler Master for supplying this case for review.

Hello esteemed enthusiast. Courtesy of the fine folks at Corsair, we present to you the MP600 Core Mini M.2 2230 SSD. As the name states, the MP600 Core Mini SSD features the M.2. 2230 form-factor. This SSD form-factor is designed to work in thin and light laptops and the rapidly growing PC gaming handheld market.

Up until a few years ago, it was a rarity to find a 2230 SSD drive not developed for an OEM manufacturer. While the 2230 SSD market now has many options, it is uncommon to see storage capacities above 1TB. Corsair is answering the call for larger storage sizes for this physically limiting form-factor. Using 3D QLC NAND, Corsair has introduced a 2TB 2230 SSD to satisfy our ever growing storage appetite. Read on to see if this QLC based SSD is right for you.

  8. Thank you all. I admit, I did play it a bit safe with my writing style, but I will adjust accordingly.

Cooler Master products seem to be getting better, while some of the other brands that have been more popular are trending in the opposite direction. From the test results in the review this AIO performs quite well.

Yes, this AIO pleasantly surprised me on how well it performed for its price bracket. I am even thinking about buying some of the Sickleflow Edge fans separately. You know me bro, if a product is bad, I am definitely going to tell the world.

I am a custom watercooling addict. There. I admit it! Over the years, I have built hundreds of PC’s with custom watercooling loops. Most of these PC’s were for clients, however, 80% of my own builds are custom watercooled. While the end results are (usually) amazing, the high expense, the dozens of build hours and of course the maintenance required, make it a tough sell for a lot of PC enthusiasts. What should a majority of PC builders decide upon? An All-In-One CPU cooler. Enter the Cooler Master Masterliquid 360 ATMOS AIO CPU cooler. Should this AIO CPU cooler be on your short list to consider? It is time to find out.

  10. I unsure if I can trust AMD with HEDT/Workstation platforms any longer. I feel like I got burned when I invested in TRX40 (I was an early adopter of TR4 X399 as well) and we got only one gen for the platform. I still have my ASUS Zenith Extreme II Alpha and 3960X, being used as a video storage server now.

I'd love a new 32C processor + 8 channel workstation, but I need to see a commitment statement from AMD like they have with AM5, before I go back.

  11. Nice review. Good thing it has a monster of a heatsink. I have trouble cooling all of the Gen 4 drives I have installed in my 3960X rig.

How do you like the X670E Ace? I purchased the same mobo when a colleague traded his 7600X to me for an Intel 11900K. It sits on my test bench until I make the decision on whether I am going to go with a 4090 or 7900 XTX.

    Welcome.

    What are your specs?

I own and use AM4/AM5, LGA1700 and TRX40 platforms. I also have X99, X299 and various 1151 CPUs that I use for overclocking. As for GPUs, take your pick (excluding 40 series).

  13. Hello Everyone,

While I am not technically new, as you can see from my history, I do not often post...at all. I've always been a lurker, offering my advice on PC hardware all around the net. I am a semi-retired overclocker that loves to push hardware (as we all). I do tend to stick to one or two forums and after my last frequented forum died (RIP NBR), I have been scattered. If you know me, you know I'll pick one thread on a forum and live in it. My hope is I find one of those here.

EDIT: I would like to add that I am very hardware/brand agnostic when it comes to CPU/GPUs. I use everything from all brands. I love using the best possible hardware available.

    I'll see you all around.
