I'm a little out of the loop these days. Last I'd heard, memory speed was limited mainly by the motherboard and not so much the chip. I don't know how much of a difference it makes overall. Your motherboard is rated for speeds up to 8000, so I think you should be good with just about anything you pick up. Here's a benchmark I was able to find that might help:

There's also the option of going for 24 gig sticks for 48 gigs, which seems to be a new selling point. Personally I've never had a demand for more than 32 gigs, except maybe StarCitizen, but that's such an unoptomized mess I don't think it counts!

My testing showed it didn't make much difference. Search and login are still the same, and I don't think the clock changed. I miss when stuff was simple...
Daily reminder, Linux is a thing! (Although I don't know I'd call it simple...)
