    That is a BAD day!  Sorry to see you had that happen to you.

     

    This is why it is best practice to make an Image of your drive before you do Windows updates.

     

    I've even had unrecoverable corrupted drives by just OCing my test Rig to the max .......

     

    If you don't want to loose Data - Back it Up ..... having an Image is the Fastest way to restore your system.

     

    Microsoft just cannot get their act together; they are almost Always Breaking their own software with their poorly vetted updates. 

    To add insult to injury MS will push updates even after MS receives overwhelming evidence that the update is Breaking systems. 

    I know people in the tech industry who will not even consider hiring a MS software engineer; too incompetent to do proper software testing & they constantly demonstrate poor understanding of their own products & code.
