I still have no clue what I'm doing with mine.
So far, here's what I've done with my 7900x system:PBO enabled +200MHz
Undervolted -0.90v
1.40v VDDQ / VDD (whatever the 2 RAM voltage settings are)
1.25v SoC
Scaler set to 8x
RAM @ 64x multiplier (stock was 60x)
Timings set manually to XMP (slightly tighter now)2100 IF Clock
UCLK = MemClock enabled (I think I got the terminology right?)
No clue what any of these new ratios and stuff means you guys are talking about. Don't know if I'm doing it right or not. But the system's noticeably faster than my tuned 5800x system.
If one was to decide to step up into a 48GB kit for a 7900x later on, what ARE the proper tweaks to be doing on this platform? Do you want fast RAM? Shouldn't IF Clock be 1:1? What is a UCLK? Ugh, I was hoping this platform was going to be similar to AM4. -_-Already pretty good tune , if you have a Zentimings screenshot? For 1:1 mode your 6400 setup with 2100 fclk isnt ideal, you want the fclk to be in sync with the uclk and memclk, for example: 3000:2000:3000 (DDR5-6000 with 2000fclk) then 3100:2067:3100 , 3200:2133:3200 , 3300:2200:3300 . DDR is double data rate, so the 3200:2133:3200 combo will be DDR5-6400 with 2133 fclk. in 1:3:1 sync

now testing a 64gb dual rank kit on 7800X3D, really nice its Hynix A-die its perfect for a 1:1 setup. Now at 6600 with 2200 fclk , 6800 also works with supertight timings C26 and stuff like that!
ive tried some 1:2 overclocking but havent been able to go much beyond 7200. I think its because of dual rank or maybe the mobo. But really good stuff it does the same low timings as single rank!

its about 25-30% faster as with 'regular

really good, haven tested stock settings but its at least 30% highger scoring in 3dmark firestrike vs the previous #1 on 3dmark.com result page

well, bclk 100+ doesnt count for valid CPUZ screen the best it can boot right now is DDR5-10000 with these 2024 Hynix M-die modules. amazing to me as i never really had over 9000 before

thinking i had the first sub 7s Pyprime in the world my buddy Dom from OCN beats me by 0,006s i will get its one day haha
however, at 8360C32-45-40-34-74-500 i got him by a pretty large margin in Pyprime 32b
so if you compare the two, he is in gear 1 with 6800C26-36 tight timings, i managed to have better latency in gear 2 !!

Got a 7600X and it is pretty much the same as my other AM5 cpus with DDR5. it runs 8000C32-43 and also gets really hot in benchmarks with AiO

Love your setup! and OC on the RAM is nuts!

just set VDD voltage 0,1v higher every time you boot, or disable memory context restore. If you let the system train every time you boot you wont have issues.

Hey guys, I'm new here and new to mem overclocking too.
Spent the last two days tweaking my Corsair CMH64GX5M2B6400C32 kit and the below is the best I got so far. This is a 7950x on a Asus Hero.
I´m scratching my head because I just cannot set UCLK=MCLK... Am I missing something here? Hear something about 3ghz being the floor for UCLK on AGESA 1.0.0.8.. is that so?
Any additional advices/suggestions on my settings?
Have you been able to set memclk : uclk in 1:1 at all? And if so at what speed? Does it work at 6000? And have you tried raising MEM VDD and VDDQ to 1,5v or so? With the timings you have set, maybe loosen up RRDS/L to 8-8 tFAW 32, with tWTRS/L 24-6

i had weird lock ups with my AM5 system previously, it was the Radeon driver for my RX 6800, its a known problem. I dont know if you have an AMD gpu Hurricane? Fixed it back then by getting driver 9.22 i believe.

Was messing around with my non X3D CPU still trying to beat the topscore in PYPrime 2b. A japanese guy with 7700X @6GHz has 8,832S
with 5775MHz and 8400C43 at 105 bclk it was still able to boot with 2 cores , so after quicly starting benchmate this one popped out.
kaliz`s PYPrime - 2b with BenchMate score: 8sec 742ms with a DDR5 SDRAM

Thanks bud!
Quick question, regarding per core CO. What are you using to single out each individual core for the sakes of testing stability?
OCCT has some good tests to test per core
