I decided to recruit more help a little too late in the game. Good run everyone!

I've been folding still off and on. Just not as active on any of the forums these days. How has everyone been?
-
I'm sitting close to 6.7 Billion. The cert only gave me the number of WUs not the points so far.
But according to stats site I have earned 6,692,785,358 points by contributing 53,747 work units.

Nice, what hardware did you add?
Managed to pick up a 3080ti FE for MSRP. So it's my 3090FE folding part time in Windows, my 3080ti and A2000 folding probably 90% of the time in another rig.

Just curious, what kinda power does your FE draw for a result like that?
Did you share it on HWBOT too? (I searched for paperclip but it gave me an error)I never got a HWBOT lol
If my math was right. It was consuming about 440 watts for that (shunt modded).

It was bouncing around 100-109% power with the shunt mod. So over 400 watts lol. Luckily ambient temps are pretty low in my basement and I have the flow and rad space for it. Temps sit around 35c on that WU and around 30-31 for the lighter load ones.

I'll have to check it out. Right now I pretty much only have the 3090 in my main rig and the A2000. The 3090 sees some down time when I game.
I did notice on the 3090 where I had been bouncing off the power limiter even with the slider at 114% I am no longer having that issue on some of the more demanding WUs (since the shunt mod), like project 17257. It's cranking out an estimated PPD of 10342797 now (TPF is 52 seconds). This is in Windows 10 with my normal every day image.

Have a lot of points to make up since I was reluctant to switch teams. Had been holding that #3 spot on OCN for a while and was about to pass JPM.
-
Since I didn't kill my 3090 and I have extra resistors I am going to shunt mod the A2000 either tomorrow and Friday. 33% more power available should still be fine for the PCIE slot on the board since that should put it a tad over 90 watts based on the power I am seeing used.

Time Spy GPU score went from 21,808 to that 22,730 pretty easily. I need to do more testing to see what my highest stable clocks are for Time Spy. My Port Royal score jumped similarly. 14,555 to 15,427.

The ppd is good for 70W, and how are the temps?
Temp just sits at 70c with auto fan curve putting fan at about 42%. This current WU is getting an estimated 1.9million PPD. Project 17257 (2277, 1, 5)

Sorry for the late response. I followed the advice about reaching out on the F@H Discord. They added it this morning lol. She is folding away. looks like depending on WU so far estimated PPD is between 990k and 1.3 million. not bad for a 70 watt card lol.

It's not a bad little card. I needed some little cards for my server and managed to get them for MSRP from CDW... just had to wait 2 months for my order lol. It does have display outputs. Currently no display connected since it's not the primary card. Tried both Windows and Linux (CentOS and Ubuntu Server) with various drivers and clean installs and DDU and such.

Oof. That's not good lol. Hopefully AMD gets off to a better start with their next attempt.

I'm hoping to also see some news about the 'bigger brother' HEDT version (successor to 10980XE so to speak) which should have a lot more P and E cores, plus at least '8'-channel DDR5...and the next-gen Epyc (and AM5 based Threadrippers?) apparently get '12'-channel DDR5, and up to 96 cores per CPU
I am hoping we see some HEDT stuff from Intel this year.
