  1. I've written a thing or two about memory.

    Things get confusing if you have Ryzen for sure.

    Channels, ranks, interleaving... Also if you buy the same kit later there are no guarantees that the 2nd batch will use the same ICs. I've had that happen with my gskill kit. I could have more to say but I just woke up and wanted to put some sort of opinion in here if it helps.

  2. This has to be the best mouse I've used in a while. I got it late last year by recommendation from a friend. I was previously using the New Microsoft Classic Intellimouse. Before that I was using the Roccat Tyon & the Logitech G303. I loved the Tyon for it's weight and that was about it. The 303 had okay tracking but it was awkward. The Intellimouse was just normal, nothing special. I also bought that Coolermaster MM710 the same time I got the bloody P85.

    The thing that does it with this mouse is the optical switches. I rarely game but I do a crap load of desktop stuff, Excel, video editing etc. Having these switches that don't mis-click is just amazing. Every other mouse I've used eventually has ghost clicks while working on stuff and it's just so annoying. Dragging cells in Excel just to have it stop clicking and now you're moving the contents of the cell is just ugh.

    The other features like the really involved macro stuff is neat if you like that. You can have macros that "control recoil" while you shoot in games... That is... If you can successfully reverse the motion and translate that into Scratch programming language.

  3. This is all the audio crap I got:

    * FiiO E07K

    * FiiO Q1 Mark II

    * Sennheiser HD 58X

    * I had nice balanced cables for the 58X that went with the balanced output on the Q1 Mark II, but I dropped my headphones and the cable broke at the connector to the headphones. Maybe it can be fixed? They were spensive.

    * Phillips SHP-9500

    * Really old and ratty but still sound good Sennheiser hd380

    * I'm getting those Drop THX Panda headphones when they ship out. Yes, I supported them on Indiegogo. Zeos turned me on to them but then everyone and their mom had a YouTube video about them and they just aren't cool anymore which sucks.

    Ye, I'm going to be doing a couple units with no overclock and then with a memory overclock and then a core overclock and then both overclocked and see wut does what. then i'll mess with affinity setting. i'll be collecting everything in HFM.NET. should be a fun next couple days. DATA!

    EDIT: Is the normal thing to just use

    client-type beta

    max-packet-size big

    next-unit-percentage 100 (or 99)?

    any other tweaks for the settings?
