  1. I took the sensors for the GPU off and it worked fine, then tried with just the temps for the GPU, CPU and coolant. Anything to do with the GPU it crashes. So I using afterburner for the time being. I will look at Rainmaker when I get a chance. Will let you know how I get on.
  2. @BWG Please donate my prize to site funds or a charity.
  3. Looking on the AIDA Site there is an apprent issue with AIDA64 & AMD Drivers, they do not stat why. I did have another crash while AIDA64 however there was no reboot this time and had a dev error code (6068) with is a directx issue. But with activison, their dev errors dont mean what the display. So I'm putting this crash down to the older driver version. Its a shame, I like having a sensor panel and the only alternative I know of is MSI Afterburner, I have had issues before with a few games with crashes while using it. But thats when I had Nvidia GPUs. Could be worth another shot I guess.
  4. Yes, However rolled back the bios to the previous one just to rule it out. I think I already have it configed this way. (2 cables from the PSU to GPU). Another Update. I think I found the culprit. I have disabled a few programs running in the background one of them being AIDA64 Extreme and have had no crashes tonight. I thought I ruled AIDA64 out last week. I will have a few more runs with the program disabled to make sure it is the culprit. It will be a bummer if it is as I used it as sensor panel.
  5. Update Rolled back to 21.2.3 driver. Manged to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla for an hour with no interruptions. Played COD for 10min and it crashed. However the driver didn't disappear,
  6. As you know Call of Duty is alI I'm playing at the moment or F1 2020. It's only happened once it in F1. But when it come to resources F1 uses nothing compared to Call of Duty. I will probably load up CP2077 tonight and see if I get the same result. If I get a crash, I will roll back the driver. I always use DDU now, otherwise I'll get a tiny you in my mind tutting at me :D. I agree that it's not a PSU issue, but could be the one pin has come loose for the VGA cables. I'm doubtful it's this however still worth a check. I've gone into the game files of Call of Duty and lowered the VRAM usage, as for some reason it uses the full 16gb when should only needs 8gb. I am currently stress testing the VRAM with OCCT, been on for an hour with no issue. For the time being I have contacted AMD customer support hoping they will share some insight into the issue. I'll keep you posted.
  7. So I manage to get my hands on a 6900xt. It my first AMD GPU and we are not getting along I have a recurring issue where my PC crashes while gaming, which is mostly Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 at the moment, but a crash did occurred while playing F1 2020 the other day. A crash can happen at any moment. When it happens the game freezes for about 20 seconds, before the PC reboots. After the reboot the driver for the 6900xt disappears (yeah! I'm serious). All the sensors for the 6900xt on my sensor panel disappear too. Max temp on the 6900xt under load is 45-50 degrees. What I can understand it is either a power issue or a driver issue. The PSU is an overkill for my system as its 1300 watts. So it cannot be an issue with a lack of power. The VGA power cables for the GPU don't seemed to damage too but I will check them with a volt meter tomorrow and for good measure I will swap the out for others if I have spares. I cannot repeat the crash while using bench mark software (3DMARK and Furmark). Hoping if anyone could help my out with this. My rig specs are: CPU: AMD 5900x GPU: AMD 6900xt MOBO: MSI 570X MEG ACE. PSU: 1300 Watt EVGA Super Nova G2 RAM: Crucial Ballistix 3600Mhz 32GB
  8. Little nervous with an AMD GPU, this will be my frist. AMD have always been the under dogs when it comes to GPUS. However this range has made Nvidia nervous so hopefully the 6900XT will do me well.
  9. Metal Head here, I wake up = Metal, House work = Metal, working = Metal. Dancing with my 2-year-old = Baby Shark.
  10. They released a patch for it today: https://forums.plex.tv/t/security-regarding-ssdp-reflection-amplification-ddos/687162
  11. @Bastiaan_NL Already a subscriber, you can put the membership in the pool of prizes for the next folding event or get yourself a pizza.
  12. Done some research on it The sliver coils or "kill coils" are obsolete. As 99% of coolent has additives in to do the job of the coil. I read that silver and copper can also react with each other but don't know how true this is.
  13. 3 Years ago, I sadly had to sell gaming desktop rig and downgrade to laptop (performs better than my old rig did) to make room for my son We are selling our house and moving to a bigger house later this year and after a long talks with my partner. She has granted me permission to get a new desktop when we move. I have some idea what my new rig will have in it, but would like to hear your input and experience. My budget is 5K to get a monitor and the rig itself. What would you get?
  14. I would love to the new Assassin's Creed once its released. Also maybe Call of Duty Warzone to see If it will actually improve the textures and rendering.
  15. Hi all, I just wanted to start a discussion more for curiosity on how you have your Plex servers setup, how you manage and organize it. What you house the components in? etc For mine I have it set up an old gaming pc case with a Micro Atx motherboard with an AMD FX-4300 CPU. 1 SSD to run the OP (Windows 10 Pro) and 2 HDDs, one to hold the media for Plex and the other is used as a network drive. The 2 HDDs are then backed up to a NAS daily. For naming the media files I used a program called Filebot it costs 6 USD but is worth it. To organize the media I keep TV shows, Films, and Music in separate folders then have subfolders for HD and SD I try and keep all video files at 1080p. It connects via an ethernet cable directly to the router. I manage it using the free version of Teamviewer. it's not a fantastic machine but gets the job done. However, I would love to hear how you guys do it.
  16. I am a friend of Enterprise and thought "hey lets join", They look worried . My computing knowledge is nothing compared to the topics I have been reading on here, however, if an opportunity opens I will gladly try and help out but it will be more likely that you guys will be helping me out.
