Don't forget about the m.2 slots if you want to shove a few more GPUs in the X399 machine. https://extremehw.net/topic/50-post-your-last-purchase/?do=findComment&comment=4205
Went ahead and bought 4 M.2. Risers of your recommendation.

yep, looks about right. Mine is running direct die at 5.2GHz now. so, did you have unsuccessful delids?
Ha! no, no unsuccessful runs.

Best value/performance your money can buy ATM.

New SuperFlower 1600w Titanium and SF 1000w Platinum unboxing. Very well put together.
-
First setup as a mining rig. It did not work as expected.
-
M40's and 16x risers. If you go down this route, make sure you get longer risers, at least 40cm.
-
Up close of the M40 folding rig. Fan was broken on the GPU that I shoved the probe into. It has since been fixed and the probe stays about 55c with 100% utilization.

Acool rad collection. Most are new awaiting the Caselabs TH10a Build.

Finally got all my crap organized. I have more * than I can possibly use. If you see anything in this picture you might need, make me an offer.

Left 3x Tesla K80's, right 4x Tesla M40's. Bought as mining experiment, K80's didn't even work, M40's only put out 3 MH/s each. So scrapped and converted into folding rig until better more power efficient cards could be purchased at reasonable prices. The rig on the right will do 4.2 million ppd, about on par with 1660's. Under the noctua is a x399 with 1900x. Left is a delidded 8700k and Asus z390-A.

Swiftech 90's, Bykski anti-off 12mm and 16mm extra fittings.
-
BP 90 degree rotaries and 90 degree normal fittings. EK extra fittings to the right have since been sold.
-
45 degree fittings. EK and Swiftech.
-
Spacers. 5-60mm.

The Behemoth Caselabs TH10a. Future home of my consolidated 4x 2080Ti x399 2950x mining/folding rig. This project will be my next one and is on hold till the summer when my son can help and i'll hopefully have found a 3 series card to go in the office rig.

Folding rig setup and in action. Commenting on this made me realize I need to move the NVlink to the office for actual usage.

Final configuration of the retired O11XL, which is now my #1 folding rig in the basement. Probably one of the cleanest, easiest builds I have ever done. 9700k under the block in an ASUS z390-p board. 2x EVGA 2080Ti Black Gamers. +130 core on both for 24/7 folding or -400 core and +1100 MEM for mining.

S8S in my favorite color, orange.
-
Assembled Caselabs S8S build, currently unchanged and in use in the main office.
-
First successful de-lid on my #1 9900k. Used a Rockit toolkit.
-
My sons first loop, I helped him build it, but he chose all the components and tube runs. This build would later go opaque with the Mayhems pastel white and cause some serious cleaning issues for me.
-
Close-up of the temp and flow probes of my sons first WC build.
-
Last configuration in the O11XL (Orca) build before retiring her to #1 folding rig and transplanting most of her parts into the newly acquired S8S.

I have cut my finger on that Zalman cooler once or twice.
