  1. RIP flash, but I made it work. Needed it for our organization. https://www.reddit.com/r/WindowsHelp/comments/o1iwz2/kb4577586_undo_flash_removal_solved/ I HAVE THE SOLUTION for 64-bit. Download at your own risk, of course, but here's the files. https://www.filehosting.org/file/details/949363/Flash.zip Contents of Flash.zip: \Flash\ activex.vch Flash.ocx *FlashFixer.ps1 *FlashFixer.reg FlashUtil_ActiveX.dll FlashUtil_ActiveX.dll *mms.cfg *Readme.txt The only files I customized are marked with an asterisk. If you already have the others, you're fine. Read the Readme first. Feel free to test in a safe environment like a VM if you don't trust me lol. I don't know how long the link is good for.
  2. A lot of ignorant folks do that
  3. Yeah but nVidia still calls them GeForce
  4. The first two sentences reference rhumours (that's my brit joke). I wonder what this move away from 'Radeon' will do? I feel like this could be a big leap in performance. It could be seen as unwise to do a typical 10-15% performance bump and change the name so much. Radeon is known. It has been since ATI existed, at least so long as I remember them. People might misunderstand and not realize these are the big boys. Heck, if you ask me AMD Radeon is still a baby compared to ATI Radeon. But, maybe I'm thinking too much into it. But I feel this will be a substantial leap in performance, giving the opportunity for the product line name change.
  5. This guy gets it. It's no different than Amazon. They allow third-party venders, yet they don't enforce price gouging policies. It's frustrating that Newegg has devolved so much. It would be nice if they put something to more clearly identify that they don't have the item. For example "3RD PARTY OFFER".
  6. What I mean is, isn't the speed limiting factor of ethernet the copper itself? A switch that can't to 10 GBps is trash, imo. I could be full of it.
  7. Just an Auros Elite, nothing too wild. I probably won't be overclocking this for a while. Now I'm just waiting on stock alerts and my custom scripts to alert me for a 3080.
  8. Just scored a 5900x from Best Buy ??? I thought switches supported any speed? Like forever? As long as it's ethernet? I always thought the limiting factors were cables, NICs, and Routers
  9. Brooooooo I've been using the hot stock app and just scored the 5900x from Best Buy! Arrives on the 27th
  10. I'm starting to think they'll never be available
  11. New chair. I love it. $180. Did an unboxing and initial review. I plan to give a more in-depth critical review at a later date, once I find some things I don't like about it.
  12. It's December and this sucks.
  13. updated, added the NAS I bought, it's back in stock! Also cleaned up the NewEgg links
  14. Didn't see anything yet, so I'll start one. Post good stuff so I can keep this updated. 15. Good, cause one of my 2TB drives went ti.... Belly up. I suddenly found myself with a 500GB nVME and a single 2TB drive. Need moar. The old drive was an ST2000DM001. Junk. Decent spec though, 7200rpm, 64mb cache. Looking forward to 256mb cache! Wish I could afford a couple 2TB nVME drives, gen 4. 5000Mbps+ ???
  16. https://www.newegg.com/seagate-ironwolf-st8000vn0022-8tb/p/N82E16822179003?Item=N82E16822179003 $180
  17. My first custom build. You know that foam that came with some motherboards? The softer stuff behind the PCB, plyable? I installed it with the motherboard. Also didn't use screw sets. couldn't figure out why it wouldn't POST. Guess the foam wasn't exactly blocking all shorts. Luckily when I removed the foam, and used the screw sets, everything worked just fine. IDIOT
  18. No, that's a good suggestion. I plan to keep improving this, it's quite a project. Unfortunately I don't have as much free time as I'd like, and I can't dedicate 100% of it to this, but I'll be working on it!
  19. No way we can utilize that kind of resolution in the near future, but there's hope, at least, for some major improvement. Me like.
