  1. Good, maybe he can go get us some GPU's on foot, bare, 10 inches of snow, -50F, and uphill.
  2. C'mon Man, you need 60 tabs minimum d oh double G!
  3. First off, I really hate Jack and Barbara with all of my heart and soul... And that leaves me to @Avacado
  4. My 3080 FTW3 HC pulls nearly 400 watts and my 3070 Gaming Trio pulls nearly 300 watts. I think 850's too light. Go for 1000w or above, and then make sure you've got sufficient PCI-E 8-pin plugs. I'm fairly certain both of those PSU's you linked will shut off after a bit of time due to over-loading them. Are you trying to isolate it to Microcenter so you can get it up and running quicker? I probably should point out that PCI Express 3.0 did not cripple my 3070. I did not try my 3080, but it DID cripple my 3080ti, so keep that in mind as you plan ahead in your build. I bought one of these: https://www.amazon.com/PC-Power-Cooling-Fully-Modular-FPS1050-A5M00/dp/B077YXBMTC Do you remember these guys? I am not going to suggest buying one yet as ownership changed hands a while ago, but the one I have that's 12 years old now is still working and was mining/folding up until I needed more 8 pin connectors. The new one seemed to have the same build quality, so could be a good budget option. I had the 3080 and 3080ti + all of my RGB and water cooling going on it. 3080ti was pulling 350 watts, 3080 376 watts, 18 RGB fans, 6 .60 amp Ultra Kazes, Pump, 5800x, x570.. Things probably near capacity, but no issues yet.
  5. I got in, we'll see. It's yours.
  6. Now he'll just ask for more things.
  7. @ENTERPRISEthere's a little 3080ti value. Same ppd or better for less $.
  8. Glad I'm not being blamed, but the real blame should be placed on Canada for letting you have internet...
  9. You can team view from your phone to your pc's.
  10. @Bastiaan_NLwhat's your hfm logs say your PPD was on your 3090 for p13446?
  11. @Bastiaan_NLand everyone who cares. I moved the bench to the old pc that was on 3.0, and then moved the 3080ti to the 4.0 rig. Take a look at hfm now, and don't forget to refresh the page.
  12. I finished hooking the A/C up and it's running. Got a lot of cleanup to do. I also switched the 3080ti to my main rig with my 3080 so they are both on PCI-E 4.0. I then moved the bench to my 1700x rig. Everything is folding, and the A/C barely cycles on at all. Steady 72 F right now. A bit chilly with the ceiling fan circulation. HFM shows everything's folding. 3080ti is where my display is plugged in, but I'm not touching it. All clocks on 3080 and 3080ti match so we can see a fair comparison.
  13. Oh no @Avacadothat's really sad to hear. I'm sorry you lost one of them. @iamjancothat avatar sucks! Stop telling him it's good. ?
  14. The clocks on the 3080 and 3080ti all match now. However, 3080ti is on PCI E 3.0.
  15. Hey, 1 other oddity, this thing only has 2 8 pin plugs and my 3080 has 3.
  16. Looks like it's on nVidia for changing id's from the looks of it. Hard work. Dedication. I'm EVGA Elite, and I refreshed auto notify pages for an hour and 20 minutes or so until I got in the notify queue. Bought it yesterday, overnight ship, here and installed today. So, here's the resolve. I'll test in a few.
  17. Got my 3080ti. Installed the driver. Started folding, or did I? For some reason, this screenshot reminds me of @Avacado Updating the client now to see if that helps, and then going to try other drivers.
  18. You can use my torque wrench.
  19. 1 hr. 20 mins 8 tabs half chrome half edge. Reserved 4 on edge. 0 on chrome.
