  1. Ooof restoring it will be a worthwhile endeavor assuming you have something to live in it that can survive with 3 80mm fans. I'd only come off one if I was trading for one of the ones on my want list (PC-V750B or PC-V1000LB)... There are some hideous modern cases, but in general they're easier to build in. The big difference is they're purpose designed instead of the 1size fits all of 5-10+ years ago. I bought that same RGB rosewill case and it was okay to build, I've also got an 011D I picked up cheap locally that is definitely specifically designed for use with an AIO or custom loop, however it was truly enjoyable to build.
  2. Still? That's awesome. I didn't get a SOHO until they were obsolete, however my pc-61B is still around with the rest of my currently disorganized vintage Lian Li collection. Super sweet ones with turbo buttons? Same, I guess I didn't get into the forums and start thinking about cases names until around when black cases started becoming more widespread.
  3. This one stung lol. I think classic cases and I think of Antec SOHO and Lian LI PC-60.... now I feel old.
  4. Thats a strange glitch too! Turns out my issue was definitely a bad memory controller in my cpu. I rebooted to install a ssd to test last weekend and it would no longer boot with memory above 2133. I installed a 5800x and it was back to normal.
  5. Yeah thats what google gives me exclusively. I run a 3070 in that rig, i've tried a 5450 i use for testing in multiple slots, same results Edit: On a whim I tried some different ram and it posted, works perfectly. I picked up the 5900x and ram secondhand and they had been working together perfectly, so I'm not sure how bad ram caused a vga light but either way, its back folding. Thanks for responding
  6. Hey all, Title says most, I've got an x570s master with a 5900x, and it wont post. I'm gettings post code 43, which isn't listed in the manual, as well as a vga light. Tried different gpus, no change. Just wondering if anyone knows the definition for code 43. Thanks!
  7. Oooh I wanna join! EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING 08G-P5-3767-KL Purchased: 12/5/21 EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING 12G-P5-3967-KR Purchased: 1/21/22
  8. That is strange, must be either an older Bios or TPM not enabled. I went on a spree not too long ago to confirm all of mine were compatible, only one rig fought back with tpm and it was a z370 board, I ended up having to reload win 10 but it's compliant now too according to the tool.
  9. As long as I've known about the hw requirements, intel 8th gen and newer has been supported. Ryzen 2xxx (except 2200g/2400g) and newer is the amd cutoff I believe.
  10. I adjusted my overclocks to keep my clock as high as possible while staying <90c, I haven't messed with avx offset, maybe I'll give that a go and see what the points penalty is.
  11. Looks like a winner to me, I was seriously considering a 280 as I think its the max I can fit in the top of my pc-a61, and the only size I can fit in my pc-b70. Thanks for the input, I figure if it holds up well to a gpu load it should be able to hold up well to a 200ish W cpu load.
  12. Well howdy stranger! No cpu folding? I'm getting 300+k ppd on my 9900k on 14t lol. Which kraken do you have?
  13. Hello All, I've been considering moving my 2 8c intel cpus from air cooling to a CLC, as of now with an NH-D15 on one and an Assassin III on the other I still have to manually back em off stock boost speeds to keep temps out of the 90's. In the past, I've had premature failures of CLC systems using them for folding, specifically <6mo pump life. I was wondering if anyone here has been cpu folding on similar power hungry hardware with a longer cooler life. TIA and happy folding!
  14. Some people are running turbo BP's in these. I just wanted the most power I could get and still keep air lol
  15. Let me know if you want more, it's a 1992 Ford Festiva GL Sport. I've added a 16v 1.6 from a Mazda MX-3 to make it feel like a sport.
  16. I'll get some more when I get home from work!
  17. My little race car is now smoke free for the first time since I've owned it... Took a chance on an unknown MX-3 engine last weekend and got lucky, and after breaking some ridiculously hard to find components trying to get a fitting disassembled, It now has correctly functioning a/c.
  18. Oooh E30 wagon? I'd never seen such a thing Wonder if those were available USDM? Either way, beautiful.
  19. Ooooh I like to show off my fleet! Sorry for the boomer pic, its the only one I have of the whole fleet. From left to right: 08 Ford Fusion beater car, 92 Ford Festiva L (stock with upgraded brakes and suspension), 92 Ford Festiva GL (upgraded engine, stock everything else), 85 Dodge D150 /6 4spd, 73 Ford F100. They all have very specific purposes is what I tell myself and my very patient lady.
  20. Ooof C'mon Gigabyte, give me a good bios for my B550 Aorus Pro AC
