  1. I will try that looks interesting. Thank you. I tried $ sudo nvidia-smi -pl but power limit would just go down to 250. PPD started falling so I went back to default. I may have not given it enough time. I did notice that boost clock speeds are about 100 less than windows, but better ppd. I wished the new client would show just the credit for the wu like the old client so all I have for reference is the ppd numbers.
  2. Its bouncing between 237 - 281 watts but that is default. Since I am fairly new to linux gonna see how to lower the power usage. On windows I had it set on 230 watts and oced to over 3000 but ppd was lower than linux. Once it ramped up I had 1 wu that was over 24m but now it settling in at high 19 to lower 20s constantly.
  3. Completely redone my folders that do not fold much anymore. I believe I am ready. Not gonna be a danger to the big dogs tho.
  4. Got a new card. 5070Ti. Started folding to break it in. On Win 10 591 drivers ppd started at 13m slowly worked up to a high of 19m but only on 1 wu. Normal daily averaged 16.5. It was doing a little better than what it showed on Lar"s site. I decided to try it on Ubuntu 24.04 same stock settings. Ubuntu started at 14m up to a high of 20m. That 20 came after a long run of 18m wus. Ubuntu is using the 580 drivers. What have you guys noticed? Anyway happy with the 5070Ti.
  5. Made me fire up Pink Floyd as if I needed a reason
  6. How much ppd does that 5070ti put out on average?
  7. I am searching for a better folding card that does not use a bunch of power. The 2080 and the 6800xts are just not efficient. Being on a fixed income and tight budget makes things harder. I will be back here and there but 24-7 is definitely a no go.
  8. Prizes are nice but i really do not think the ones that folded was doing it just for the prizes. Save the prizes for a later contest when we have more participation. It was a very nice gesture to put up the prizes though Pio. Much respect Sir!!
  9. Well I am bummed. Started the client, changed the team to HW. Finished a wu and saw no points to HW. After some head scratching checked TPU stats and they got the credit even tho my client says HW. Will run 1 more if it doesnt change I will fire up a different comp for HW. Sorry guys.
