My Awards

  1. ok my votes (and no I won't vote for myself) 1) schuck6565 2) ShrimpBrime 3) Sir Beregond This was a lot of fun, and I do hope we do this again with some higher participation and stakes if we can make that possible.
  2. Countdown to Event Start Countdown to Event Stop ^^CLICK THOSE IF YOU LIVE SOMEWHERE NOT UTC TIME ZONE^^ How to participate: During the competition you must be folding for Team 239902 Stats: You can view the stats for the foldathon here: https://ehwfoldingstats.lazypenguin.com Prizes: p.m. @damric or @firedfly if you have something suitable to give away* (1) EXTREMEHW Official Desk Mat, 3 colors and two styles to choose. Random prize draw for those that complete minimum 10 work units. Folding Time Prizes: -tbd Excluded from Prizes: -tbd Mind the EVENT START TIMER as it is UTC time zone. Note: Stats are updated as soon as possible, but less frequent than desired. Just keep folding! Note: Extreme Team Members remember to use a different pass key than your ETF key (If you don't know what that is then it probably does not apply to you). Folding is stressful on hardware, and will often break an overclock unless it's been tested with folding. I do not recommend overclocking high end GPUs as the power draw can be extreme while folding. If anything, try tuning for energy efficiency. Casualties happen and EXTREMEHW can not be held accountable if you destroy your hardware while folding. Thank you for your participation! *must be approved so please send message in private before posting.
  3. Almost everyone here started on another team (mostly old ocn). I'd really like to get @Bones on our team as well.
  4. and what kind of bribe sir, will it require to get you to change teams?
  5. when does the voting start? I vote that $1500 should be getting a lot more than these midrange rigs! These prices are getting ridiculous.

  7. I'm obviously pulling the build with the 4070Ti Super. I'm not sure if that was a flash sale for just a few hours or what but I probably should have screenshotted the actual Amazon page. And even if I did I would still pull it because it's just evil. I hadn't shopped for video cards in a while so I hadn't realized just how good of a deal that was for the 16GB version, which I'm seeing now are around $900ish. Maybe next time we do this we will have to hash out the rules slightly to deal with such similarly to Microcenter deals. But if anyone else finds a similar amazing deal, game on!
  8. I thought it was just my phone acting dumb for the last day or so but it's also on my desktop and someone else pointed it out as well. Basically I try and visit EHW and half the time it will be a blank darkness with nothing unless I refresh the page. Only happening recently that I noticed.
  9. YES the trash talking has begun which is the fun part I was waiting for! But yeah my opinion it better be a 2TB drive if you expect to have games actually fit My secondary consideration is a drive with DRAM and then lastly TLC, but those two can be skippied if absolutely necessary. Waiting to see some builds with Intel CPUs, but I doubt we will see ARC graphics
  10. yeah I was also looking at those GRE cards last night since that 4070ti super already went back up to 900 bucks. that's really solid build and I strongly feel that 2TB nvme drive is the minimum these days.
  11. Here's my 1st attempt, and I'm including a screenshot because that 4070Ti Super thingie looks like a hell of deal, and yes today it is in stock!
