About Me
“I have been in tech for a long long time. My first hardware mod was adding dual floppy drives to an Acorn Atom. It blew up. Things got better from there. I was lucky enough to grow up in different northern communities in Canada before moving to Taiwan “temporarily” for 12 years. While there I was able to attend Computex many times as a visitor, reporter and then a booth presenter. I even spent some time writing PR for Taiwan companies and getting the pleasure of working with them. Now I am the utility reviewer for EHW. My review philosophy is “If I can do it, you can too!” with an eye to getting the best bang for the buck analysis to help cut through the overwhelming choices we are lucky enough to have in Tech now. Perhaps we can even do a few retro reviews
