  1. ... ...and a special one coz the 22nd is a special day (HEADS UP EVERYONE!!!)
  2. So, are you happy with the results? That's all that really matters in the long run. I've been tossing around the idea of redoing the copper backplate on the KPE 3090, but that probably won't happen until it needs a repaste. That first run really was just a prototype, and I've made a few minor changes to the artwork since I had that first plate made. If and when that time comes, I'll send you a heads up to see if you'd like one made for you as well. You'd have to do all the hand polishing (it's a lot of elbow grease), but I would drill the holes that you need. Anyways, just ordered the following block with active backplate for the Strix 3090 after reading about it here and there on the 'net. Coming direct from China, it's roughly $130 cheaper than buying it here in the States (though I might have to pay customs on it; we'll see when it arrives): I've also got the Phanteks block for the Strix on its way just in case I don't like the Bykski. Gonna try out Bykski's flow/temp meter as well. That's also cheaper coming from China.
  3. The 70+ year old guy on the keyboards is former SRV Double Trouble keyboardist Reese Wynans. It's obvious these guys & gals actually have fun doing what they do.
  4. Agreed. Btw, just in case it's not obvious, I'm not promoting them, just the messenger.
  5. PlayStation5 Console PLUS PlayStation5 DualSense Wireless Controller – Cosmic Red AND Horizon Forbidden West Launch Edition (PlayStation 5) | Walmart Canada WWW.WALMART.CA Buy PlayStation5 Console PLUS PlayStation5 DualSense Wireless Controller – Cosmic Red AND Horizon Forbidden West Launch Edition... Hopefully a friend or family will want it
  6. More stuff for the menagerie/sideshow...
  7. Yeah they are limited in colours and only have pictures of the silver atm for some reason. They really are incompetent in some aspects. frustratingly so
  8. If you're willing to spend the money and deal with the headache, Optimus makes some if not the best quality fittings.
  9. Ok thanks. That's good to know
  10. Most have poor CS and will find any reason to deny RMA's, unless it's an issue like mine where they can easily point the blame at me you should be ok. All the flack atm over Newegg was an open box item that came with bent pins, considering it was open box no store or manufacture would of accepted that RMA. So it's not really an issue with their CS, it's more that they sold a board that was clearly broken.
  11. Plus Canada Computers CS is worst then Newegg though Newegg is really been crap lately. Denied my refund for my Z690 Extreme due to a defective GPU lock then take over two weeks to send it back to me, giving me the runaround each time I asked and flat out lied it was shipped multiple times when it wasn't. I really miss NCIX
  12. That sux--did you get any sort of compensation from Asus (or the seller) for the loss?
  13. Doesn't necessarily surprise me--Isn't that a lower tier board? When did it hit the $400 marrk? I just checked the pricing on their Apex and sheesh, $820 for the Apex, and a whopping $1375 for the Extreme.
  14. If you go to the link I shared above and view the pix of the block through the next page or so, you'll see how I mounted the block. It's actually fastened to the copper plate using the screws that hold the block together (I replaced the oem screws with some cut to a little longer length for that purpose). It's OOAK btw, laid out my me, cut by the waterjet cutting service I use, all screw holes drilled by me on my drill press, and hand polished by me. Also, had to do a little filing when I got it back from the waterjet cutter to make it work. My artwork was very close though.
  15. Nice! I'm using the pom version of that block on the back of the KPE. Temps have never gotten hotter than the 40s (including memory junctions; though I don't typically push things as high as the typical overclocker does): There's more pix in my build thread starting here if you want to have a look.
  16. That's some very nice kit! Uitstekend!
  17. I probably should've bought it a few years back, but the cccp beers virus pandemic and ensuing circus sideshow work created an unnecessary albeit fairly enjoyable delay; anyway, was really after the label maker and labels (for cabling/wiring id on the Manhattan Project/Muffler Bearings Control Panel, etc.):
  18. bant coz that was one of the lines i was taught by my ex father-in-law (schoonvader) back in the late '70s.
  19. bant coz who is jullie? leentje leerde lotje lopen langst de lange lindelaan.
