    Still interested to hear. 🙂

I haven;t had a chance to write things up but here are some results I got. between a 20-30C drop in temps across the board. All load temps were taken after 20 runs of speedway in 3dmark after 30 minute preheat using heaven benchmark.
    Before Idle:
    GPU: 30C
    Hot Spot: 37C
    Memory: 38
    Other memory temps: 31C
    VRM: 32C
    Load temps before:
    GPU: 83C
    Hotspot: 98C
    Memory: 90C
    Other memory temps: 68-72CC
    VRM: 60-65C Hotest 73C

    With AIO:
    Idle
    GPU: 28C
    Hot Spot: 34C
    Memory: 36C
    Other memory - 30-31C
    VRM: 31C
    Load
    GPU: 62C
    Hot Spot: 69C
    Memory: 66C
    Other memory temps: 55-56C
    VRMs: 54-66C - 66C highest.

    Here is idle before

    Hey all,

Just a quick catchup with everyone. I just wanted to check in and ask if anyone on the site using 2FA Google Auth is finding everything OK when logging in ? We had some issues with it that we have been looking into and we re-enabled it recently. We as of today disabled "Security Questions" as these were causing problems and ultimately are not as secure as 2FA Google Auth.

I haven't heard any complaints but I wanted to check in and ask.  If anyone knows of anyone having issues, please let me know.

    Many thanks,

    E

I just enabled mine and haven't had issues. Using a password manager's authenticator.

This is imperative information for those of us who side-gig PC related work including recovery/data protections.  Thanks LordXeb!

Oh I do more than just side recovery. I do clean room work, firmware repair, file system reconstruction, data deletion recovery. I also do RAID recoveries as well. I deal with a lot of badly degraded drives too. Currently learning about the newer drives and working on SSDs. BTW, I would say over half of SSDs are not recoverable either do to no support, severe firmware/controller failure or just straight up dead NAND. Monolithic recovery is a whole other specialty.

Also, a lot of modern drives are not supported due to a lot of reasons. Especially large capacity drives. And in particular helium drives. Helium drives DO NOT operate in a non-helium environment. Many can detect when there isn't enough helium around and won't even unpark their heads. Others will have instant head crash without helium. Finding parts for head exchanges is hard due to lack of drives and they apparently have some tricky adaptives/firmware things. Plus, there is literally no utility support with a PC3000. There are some labs out there that have ways, but they don't share.

  4. There needs to be a feature called Xeb. It is where Xeb can be Xeb. This way Xeb can have more Xebs.

But seriously. Can there be an easier way to find the Rig Builder? It is buried in Account Settings and not apparent where it is at.

  5. Hello everyone,

I wanted to give everyone a heads up on this. Modern hard drives with SMR have TRIM enabled on them. Yes, that TRIM that is found in SSDs. If you delete data it may not be recoverable, at all. Overwritten, deleted, etc it doesn't matter. The data may be gone pretty quick and returned to zeros.

This is something I have found while getting back into data recovery again (yeah!!!!!). Any drive with SMR drive that has come in with deleted data has been gone forever. You can sometimes find Master File Table records, but all files are empty. Basically husks.
What drives you think have SMR? All those 3.5" drives that say they are, but many MANY 2.5" drives are SMR drives as well. You have been warned.

Granted, but the dog turds outside the window took up your interest and you missed the meeting.

I wish my dog would hurry up and take a dump when I take him for a walk.

Granted, however each time it does it is on your shoe. There is no escape.

    I wish I didn't have to cook.

Is AMD coming out with RDNA AM4 APUs in the future?

For AM4? Not happening as far as I am aware. They have moved onto a new socket. All their efforts are going to be that way. AM4 has basically reached EOL as far as development goes. The chips and stuff are likely going to be sold for a while more.

Granted, but now you are known as the best game developer for wild porn games with strange kinks. I hope you enjoy fandom. 😄

At first I was going to give you a colostomy bag, but that's still pooping. No. You will now barf up your undigested meals.

I wish I could live forever.

Granted, however, every time you move, breath or speak you sound like a duck that is dying.
I wish I had super powers.

Not sure if I should consider that rude, or a gift.  :lachen:

Wish granted, but choose wisely.  You're only allowed to control time in one direction (your choice).  Never to return to present time ever again, leaving your entire life behind.

I wish for EHW's HEALTHY growth in 2023. 🙂 More reviews, and more (healthy) site members.

Granted but we you now have to deal with a site full of bronies and children.

I wish I didn’t have to poop anymore.

  11. Pretty simple. Corrupt a wish.

  12. You could try this:

    HDDGURU.COM

This freeware HDD Low Level Format utility can erase, Low-Level Format and re-certify a SATA, IDE, SAS, SCSI, SSD hard disk drive. Will also work with any USB and FIREWIRE external drive enclosures as...

I would also try this tool

    HDDGURU.COM

This freeware HDD Wipe utility will erase and re-certify a SATA, IDE, SCSI, USB or Firewire hard disk drive. Plus, it supports most flash media, including SSD.

If that still doesn't work then maybe there is something wrong with the drive?

  13. Another trick you can try is use RoadKil's unstoppable copier and try to copy the user folder when running as administrator. Also, try running as admin, open browse in the program and see if you can see through your user folder. If you do you can copy the account.

otherwise, r-studio is always a good thing to have. It ain't free but it is very handy for recovery.
