Welcome to the ExtremeHW Folding Competition, Thursday September 23rd - 25th, 1 AM UTC (Wednesday September 22nd - 24th, 9 PM EDT)

ATTENTION Extreme Team Folding Participants: Please make sure you do not fold anything under your ETF GPU Passkey except for the GPU you are participating in the event with. You need to use a 2nd passkey to fold anything else in this event.

 

In the spirit of folding for the cause and good old friendly competition between members, we are hosting another folding competition. For more details please see below.

 

How to participate:

During the competition you must be folding for Team 239902
You must post in this thread with "IN" followed by your folding username.

All "Folding Time" prizes will require your username/passkey to be given to the donator, this will not give them any of your personal information, it just let's them be able to contribute full points to your username.  Passkeys need at least 10 full Work Units to start getting the full Quick Return Bonus.  Alternatively, you could setup another passkey for your Folding@Home username with a different email address and fold your first 10 units on that.  This would still put the points towards your username, but they would also be tracked by a different passkey.

Please note all winners must claim within 30 days from announcement of the winners.

Note: Stats are updated every hour at XX:25 for previous hour of submitted Work Units.  The first update at 1:25 AM UTC will set the "zero" for your points based on all the WU's submitted up to 1 AM UTC.

3080ti & 3090 got delayed and will arrive tomorrow, but I'm ready for them other than 4.0 risers which come on Friday. 1070's are removed for the time being.

I wonder how long I have to wait for the train to pass me. In case you didn't follow last month, I was way ahead of everyone, and then @firedflyturned on like 5 bazillion 3090's and zoomed by my within the last 2 updates in the event. I'm putting the 3090 and 3080ti in today when they arrive. I saw a combination of work units giving me 77,000,000 PPD at one point yesterday. If I OC, and with those 2 new GPUS, 100,000,000 PPD could be within reach! 

 

No matter how much, or how long you fold, I'm just glad we can all continue the excitement somewhere that the owners care. I don't think I could have renewed my interest without this place, and I want to thank you again @ENTERPRISEfor taking the initiative to get this place setup.

 

Ok, I will stop kissing booty now.

 100M PPD is awesome.  

 

I'll have a bit of a late start, but I should be able to get a few more GPUs fired up tonight.

I agree that this place has fueled my enthusiasm even more, and I'm happy to be back doing this stuff which I really enjoy

With the minimal GoogleSheets links, not yet unless I get creative in those GoogleSheets to add those in as other columns and rows at the top.

 

If I have some free time this weekend, I will see if I can tweak them.
