The RTX 4060 Ti SKU will launch in two variants, either with 8GB or 16GB VRAM. That said, NVIDIA鈥檚 RTX 4060 mid-range segment will actually be getting more memory than RTX 4070 series (12GB).

According to official data, the RTX 4060 Ti series will provide up to 22 TFLOPS of FP32 single precision compute performance, while RTX 4060 non-Ti shader performance should be around 15 TFLOPS. NVIDIA is comparing the data with RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3060 series that offer 16 TFLOPS and 13 TFLOPS respectively.

Yep. And just being realistic, if a 4060 Ti is barely meeting the performance of a previous gen 3070, for the $$$ it's not really moving the needle. I suppose the 8GB version does, but the 16GB also at $499, same cost as the 3070 was, just means more needles not moving in the generation over generation performance per dollar gain.

Just lousy. Nvidia saying, hey mainstream market, here's a middle finger.

It's so funny how suddenly after three years of insanely power hungry GPUs, NOW people talk about how efficiency matters. 馃槢

My 6800xt is under 200w most of the time. Only nvidia is power hungry for this gen.  4070 use as much power as a 6800xt and perform similar.

I would love a 100w 6800xt equivalent for folding@home. Well with nvidia level of ppd. 馃榾

...yeah, but...

....one can increase the power limit of the AMD, and reduce it on the NVidia  (I do both, coz, reasons) 馃槢

...but seriously - NVidia segmenting the market to death with GPUs that have as little as 128 bit memory bandwidth is getting pretty silly. While AMD could take advantage of the situation re. a new and really competitive price-performance lead in this US$ 400 segment, they probably won't. Hopefully, I'm wrong on that.
