Hello guys,

Back in September I made these to try to help out and because E had a bounty for tutorials. Unfortunately, with what he's going through, he doesn't have time to review them and post them to the Official Extremehw YouTube channel but we didn't want my work going to waste so it's here.

I hope this helps anyone looking to dual boot Linux, fold on it, etc. The Firefox one could be applied to Firefox under Windows as well.

Hope this helps.

A note about duel boot, Windows 10/11 has a fast boot option that doesn't correctly close out drives.  This can cause Linux to load additional drives as read only, because it believes the drives may be failing due to the improper close out.  Disabling fast boot in windows can be done with msconfig under boot options.  Before I did this I also had problems with the windows clock going off after each time linux was loaded.  After disabling  the fast boot option, the clock never loses sync.

I never timed it, but it didn't feel like windows loaded any slower with the fast boot option disabled.

Thanks, good to know that bit of info to make life easier.

FYI:  Holding down the "shift key" before you select "shut down" in Windows .... keeping the shift key down until all power is off to the PC will clear the Windows Fast Startup file  (last good startup file) .... so when Windows starts, Windows looks for new hardware & drivers
