  1. It a feature support thing. Most intel igp are supposed to support 8k these days. Just amd cheaping out as usual. Il try to ddu and reinstall driver when my cloud backup finish in like 40h.
  2. Not tried on the native tv thing. Will try good idea forgot about that thing . And seem like all amd card don't support 8k hdr. Because of crappy vp9 support or something. Supposed that my intel igp can handle it maybe.
  3. @The Pook Same for me important stuff on online drive thing. Don't have anything really important anyways except old familly picture. @ENTERPRISE Am using an orico external dock with 5gbs connection over my usb 3.1 port. But it seem to be network or latency mostly. But am like 50-75% of my upload speed limit anyways i can't have fiber here. @Cerberus. 41 drive that awesone haha my head ache just thinking going higher than 2 .
  4. My dream setup is 2 8tb ssd 1 in my car and 1 on the plex. So that ways am safe. I don't have that much movie and i don't plan to have that much either i like old stuff so it pretty light.
  5. Thank you all for the idea Il fix my hard drive and copy my backup. I like the BD idea but am lazy. So will see if i can safely transfer my data over the cloud storage without issue for now. And will probably upgrade my drive and figure an external place to store HDD in case something happen after and cut the cloud thing. Transfering 1.6tb in 100h when i have over 3tb left is pretty exhausting
  6. Well seem i have an issue with video on hdmi. On my active DP TO HDMI on the same hdmi cable the video are smoother and sharper. Swapped back and forth. Or maybe am crazy i will rerun it with more sleep haha Can't run 8k hdr video without massive stuttering on both tho. I love this one This is my last amd card for real.
  7. Well am kinda stuck currently am someone who like to be bullet proof data wise for my movie collection. I was running a 8tb drive plex and leaving one 8tb on a shelf with a copy of the same data. And updating both when i have new stuff. I just rented a cloud storage for 5tb for 15$ a month in germany and am in canada. FTP transfer is deadly slow but it seem to work transfering 1.6tb currently for the past few days and got like 50h left. Do you think i should keep having 2 hard drive backup. Or compress my stuff. Data is under 4tb currently on those 8tb. I can probably drop it to 2tb with some work. And keep using the cloud as an external backup. Not too sure. External seem to be the best in case of a fire.
  8. Something i don't understand is how amd with 6000 core and a 529mm die can beat a 16000 core 609mm die. Am impressed even if it not realistic.

  10. HDR on or off seem to look the same. Maybe the car light are a bit brighter. Starting to wonder if my issue is not amd. My CX48 as not the best hdr either my 27 inch samsung is ways brighter if am not wrong. It not really blurry the main focus is alright sharp but the out of focus stuff is all blocky and squary noisy kinda.
  11. Just realised after a cleanup that i have like 25 random crappy 120mm fan. Lot of them just grind but uh. Great idea maybe a laptop cooler could be an option too
  12. I don't know if am getting crazy or not. But most 4k stuff on youtube seem blurry now. A few years ago everything was waysss sharper on my oled.

  16. Youtube. And passmark for cpu. Issue with youtube you need to figure if people are cpu bound or gpu bound in their test.
  17. If you want something extreme. You could also waterproof it using. Liquid tape or Plasti Dip paint. Should work fine if you don't put that on heatsink.
  18. That what the media says. So many lie going around. I was using twitter when it was supposedly going down and had no issue. Meanwhile FB is full of bug. They can't move him out since he own it. He probably doing the move so people can stop blaming him.
