  1. We had a Sponsored one a while back i think with lots of stuff. Am not sure lot of member wanted to win. But the starting goal was 40 no? I think we should push thing to the next one but at the same time i don't think getting more people would be easy. Maybe with split in half. Half the item for this event on a draw and the rest for the next big event.
  2. I vote out for myself. I was gaming half the the time and had a stuck work unit I will do better next time.
  3. Update folding fine. Seem like Task Manager can't read properly gpu load on amd. It fine on hwinfo64
  4. @Snakecharmed Got my 9070XT as fast as i could since i waited for the 7900xtx and price increased even before tariff. Was like 1250$ cad on release and was now 1500+ on most store before the release of the 9070XT. Finished my server also. Just need to get a 2x64gb one days to be 100% finished. Am afraid it going to get worse.
  5. 4-5m but my cpu at 100% on 32 thread. 9070xt nitro + I forgot to change folding name doing that now!

  7. Yes it horrendous and even the lga 1700 was really junk. 12900k 12900ks 13900k 13900ks 14900k 14900ks and now supposedly a 12 p core chip. I mean am all in for 12 P core but it need E-core at least 8-12 to be even worth talking about. AMD is doing great meanwhile. AM4 still going strong
  8. Intel Nova Lake-S CPUs To Feature Support On New LGA 1954 Socket, LGA 1851 Only Gets Arrow Lake & Refresh Desktop Chips WCCFTECH.COM Intel is expected to move to a newer socket with its Nova Lake-S Desktop CPU lineup, which will be called LGA 1954.
  9. I need to try to mod my g15 advantage edition bios one days. Am waiting for thermal Putty and Phase change pad will see after.
  10. Left 13900k 8 P-Core 0 E-Core no HT Right FX 8350 on a Formula Z at 4.7 supposedly. Geekbench 6 Sadly seem like the FX was a lot slower! Still not bad for a 10yo+ Cpu
  11. I would think that lot of criminal make tons of money without any outside knowledge support. So they may end up finding this ways convenient even if dumb.
  12. Had a random idea — ran PassMark on my 13900K as if it were an old FX-9590. I disabled Hyper-Threading and the E-cores to mimic the FX’s setup, just out of curiosity. Attached is the result. Now I’m wondering: are we seeing real gains in integer workloads over the past 12 years, or has most of the progress been in floating point performance? Gonna dig into some real-world integer-heavy tasks next. Suggestions are welcome! Top = 13900k Bottom = 9590
  13. I was all happy getting my s24 ultra with the 7y of update. Thinking i can replace the battery easily enough. This would be a million time better! Current phone tech is more than powerful enough and people should stop upgrading like moron every years... I can zoom on car plate almost like 300-500 meter with the s24u. It a bit worse than my s22u but still ways more powerful than anything people will ever need.
  14. Not even safe at border now! Canada updates travel advice to warn of U.S. border officers' power to search electronic devices | CBC News WWW.CBC.CA The federal government has quietly updated its online travel advice to remind Canadians to "expect scrutiny" from border patrol officers if they travel to the United States.
  15. Intel got ways better idle power comsumption if am not wrong. But the 13900k lose alot of performance under 150w while the ryzen lose ways less performance at 150w. I would go ryzen. Used 13900k are cheaper and perform about the same as 14900k 14900ks if tdp limited. If new i would go ryzen if idle power use is not an issue.
  16. Rumor is more p-core and more e-core. But since they are impossible to cool down i wonder what magic they can pull. 12900k 13900k 14900k then Ultra 200 all about the same crap. My 13900k stock beat most 14900ks in r23
  17. Had a laptop 1050ti that was pitted. From purchase it froze when gaming for hour. And when i opened it i saw that the die had a big crack/chip in it. They rmaed my mainboard.
  18. +1 for NorthWest i think they are one of the oldest.
  19. Just seen a post about someone recording voice of their boss and using AI to make it seem like he was harrasing them. It getting crazy!
