Did not even see that part of your post. The restriction i have read about was internal tubing. Can't says if it good source though. For fan i people seemed to says they where close enough to not require push pull. Another note the Alphacool is almost half the price.

Don't worry too much. My 6800M aka 6700xt Mobile is bullet proof driver wise never had any issue! My 6800XT is another story but i think it a sapphire issue not amd. Just realised everytime i get issue is with sapphire still run fine anyways pushing 4k 120hz
