I tried HDMI audio over HDCP 2.2 once and it sounded EXTREMELY clean but since most music is just two channels and I have 5.1 surround, it left most of my speakers idle, so I switched back. Using a sound card gives me the option to listen to music with all my speakers.

HDMI over HDCP 2.2 (4k hdmi) is going to give you clearly sound than any sound card will.

Also HDMI is generally superior to any sound card though there are some features you may lose by going full hdmi audio that a sound card would provide.

Some notes about the stream, she pulled in 430K consecutive viewers but it's thought the real number is much higher since people could watch the same game from other streamers and maybe people re-stream so they can watch with their friends these days. The 430K from her stream alone puts her as the third most consecutive views of any twitch streamer ever, and her channel didn't even exist ~48 hours ago. Impressive.

Yea for sure. When you consider that google pays more year after year to be default for apple than Microsoft paid to acquire Bethesda speaks volumes about how far they will go to ensure they are always the default option.

I think the fact that most of the benchmarks for this game are focusing on 4K is giving people the wrong impression. IMO the performance in this game is slightly better/less demanding then Red Dead 2 so if you can run that game, you can run this game.

You guys really don't need to wait to play this. With the resolution scaling plus TAA it's easy to get good performance that also looks nice on any reasonably powerful GPU.
