Has anyone received evga prizes yet? I'm especially interested if you live in Ontario and if the post man is ransoming some sort of import duty.
I haven't seen any delivery attempts made yet on either of my doors, will continue to keep an eye out though.

Will have to say, I'm confused on how these point totals are figured. The total that is showing is what I had at like 4:15 today.....at 7:05 I was over 9mil. I mean, not a deal breaker by any means....just confusing.
I stay that way.....for the most part. Like a few minutes ago...thought I was ordering 5 of something in 6 colors....placed the order then looked at the item description again....and it was for a total of 30!
I need a few, but not that many....

We're in the middle of contacting the top 3 winners.
Then as soon as we have them out of the way we're drawing the 30 random prizes. Stay tuned.
Yeah, I grab the Flat Files from Stanford. They only drop every 3 hours now at 20 minutes past the hour. So my stats site runs updates at 25 minutes past the hour every hour just to be sure Stanford has completed their update and then in case they issue a fix or my stats site hiccups and didn't grab the stats the last hour.
I thought the points were lined up with UTC and tri-hourly, but looking at https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ and it is saying updates are based on CDT (-5:00) now matching up with every third hour. I am pretty sure that during the winter, they were CST (-6:00) which would have also lined up with UTC which is when we decided to line up our competitions with midnight UTC so that the tri-hourly points drops would line up with our start and end times. Always creates a nail-biting last 3 hours now.
I honestly am not sure though now because Stanford isn't forthcoming with that information on their stats pages and I just volunteer my time and money for the stats site so I haven't gone digging through their forum for an answer since they like to just change things and let people just deal with the changes later.

Will the forms (on page 1) populate with the folders names before the First Points drop?
RE: Updates
In one spot is says points updates every hour
"Note: Stats are updated every hour at XX:25 for previous hour of submitted Work Units."
However, On the newer form it mentions every 3 hours? The stats site is definitely just a passion project for me on the side, so I sometimes don't get a chance to update everything everywhere.
I can try to update them all to match this weekend, do you remember where you saw the note for hourly updates?

I'm here from over at linustechtips.com, thanks for the invite and - of course - thanks for folding!
Thanks for joining Monsterkater, along with all the other new faces here, and your contributions to Folding@Home
I also can't lie and hide that I'm also happy to have some of your points towards our team for this event

What's up with the stats updating? We're 2 hours in... can't see the stats?
So Stanford changed the Flat files to only update every 3 hours now, I'm half way through implementing a proper countdown to update at the bottom of the stats site.
It means we need to line up competitions with UTC time (or CST time) lining up with 3 hour increments.
The EHW stats site though still updates every hour in case a flat file gets updated with some fixes.

Do we even really need to do that?
We could probably do away with it aside from a few cases (different forum username from F@H username, donating prizes, asking to be excluded from prizes, etc.)
But each time someone says "IN" it does bump the thread for more people to see on the home page.- 1

BUMP
Yep, start time is set, length to 3 days.
Hoping to finish up the updated stats page for the Foldathon Stats page tomorrow for instant updates during the event.
Will worry about adding styling later and will try to add the "time to next update" on it as well.

I have no strong feelings in either direction, but would ne nice to keep OCN and EHW sections on the new combined discord in my mind.
Like I would love to have each section require the respective roll confirmed to having an account on the respective forum. I find the OCN and EHW communities are different and have their own little tight-knit groups that would want to keep some level of separation.
Also could be a good little kick in the pants to get the Podcast going again, even if it's a once-a-month thing to start @Simmons- 1

Now live on homepage.
We just need to get the 3 day champion data collection sorted, then we are set, but for now we have an amusing placeholder courtesy of @axipher
Thanks Axi for working with our dev to make this happen.
Yeah, I will soon be adding in 7 days of points history so I can calculate ppd3day and ppd7day again.
Also working on a better Foldathon Points page that will let you select a year and month to see previous events stats and some basic graphs to show a history of points, wu's and folders for each event.

@axipher I am hoping our stats work right. I think we should have some WU's completed soon!
First update is in 3 minutes which would cover the first hour of the competition, fingers crossed tightly

Sounds good, I'll be booting up the 750 Ti soon anyway as the temperatures are dropping to help heat the downstairs office.

hey @tictoc are we planning to get back up and running for December?

Return of a Postbit with current total as well as 7-day average PPD and a single signature Badge showing current progress through some preset milestone numbers would be nice.
The ETF competition is still limping along, but if we can get some more solid participation, we can look at migrating that over to EHW infrastructure as well so and integrate that as a signature badge or something.
Having a single page to go to that shows current team members and their PPD like I have over at folding.axihub.ca/display.php would be nice too, screenshot below:
