Ended up on a much longer than planned for break from F@H, and the forum in general.
Not sure when/if I'll be back up folding anything. I'll update the thread when I figure out what I am going to do.
@axipher it looks like your 750ti is still folding away.
Yeah, that machine now has a Minecraft Server and PiHole on it so it's running 24/7 anyway and the 750 Ti isn't much extra heat or power consumption so I just keep it running.
I did just update to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS so I can install PiHole; the Nvidia driver and FAH Client seems to have survived the upgrade and reboots no problem.

Nice work last month @axipher
I will not have my GPUs running 24/7 between now and the 19th. The BOINC Pentathlon has begun, and even though my team has gotten much smaller, I will be giving it all I've got. There will still be some folding time when my GPUs are not active. I'll be back to full time shortly after the 19th.
I'll keep doing what I can

lmao I haven't been able to keep up with the forums for a few days and I missed it, but was folding as usual. Whoops!
I know the usual names that are typically IN for Foldathons, what I might do is add a second sheet to that Google Docs in the first post with the current sign-ups so that you only need to say IN once and track it that way. We don't have 100+ members yet that I need to worry about setting up another sign-up system like I had on OCN yet.

Welcome to the ExtremeHW Folding Competition, Saturday February 26th - 28th, 1 AM UTC (Friday February 25th - 27th, 8 PM EST)
ATTENTION Extreme Team Folding Participants: Please make sure you do not fold anything under your ETF GPU Passkey except for the GPU you are participating in the event with. You need to use a 2nd passkey to fold anything else in this event.
In the spirit of folding for the cause and good old friendly competition between members, we are hosting another folding competition. For more details please see below.
How to participate:
During the competition you must be folding for Team 239902
You must post in this thread with "IN" followed by your folding username.
Prizes:- $25 PayPal - @axipher - Won by TBD
- $100 PayPal to whoever beats BWG's output the most - @BWG - Won by TBD
Folding Time Prizes:
- TBD
Excluded from Prizes:
- axipher
All "Folding Time" prizes will require your username/passkey to be given to the donator, this will not give them any of your personal information, it just let's them be able to contribute full points to your username. Passkeys need at least 10 full Work Units to start getting the full Quick Return Bonus. Alternatively, you could setup another passkey for your Folding@Home username with a different email address and fold your first 10 units on that. This would still put the points towards your username, but they would also be tracked by a different passkey. Please note all winners must claim within 30 days from announcement of the winners.
Note: Stats are updated every hour at XX:25 for previous hour of submitted Work Units. The first update at 1:25 AM UTC will set the "zero" for your points based on all the WU's submitted up to 1 AM UTC.
Good luck to all!

Generator takes care of the essential circuits, so no worries on that front.
Power is back on now, and folding has resumed.
Woohoo, that's great to hear. Generator hookup is on my list of electrical upgrades to do next summer.

Power has been out for the last 8 hours, so the folding machines have been shutdown. No ETA on when it will be back up, but probably not until midday tommorrow at the earliest. I somehow still have internet, at least for now.
Hopefully it comes back on soon and you don't lose any food or freeze, stay safe. I'm holding BWG off in the Wildcard Category, for now...

Did I tell you I'm folding on Linux?
Someone who owns a Mustang was able to figure out Linux... They truly have made great strides in Linux for beginners...

Looks like I'm back in business running on a slightly older version of ROCm OpenCL.
After my last unit finished on Dec. 31st, I'll be shutting down and moving the rig to a open tech bench for better airflow and I'll also take that chance to move over to Linux as well.
I really hate GPU prices because I would love to just test Linux install process and performance on my gaming rig with another Nvidia, but the only other Nvidia card I have is an 8800 GTS that has a few blown caps that I kept telling myself I would replace.

I had another 7 hours of nothing on the Radeon VII today.
I'm going to see if there is an older ROCm driver that has ppd at least in the neighborhood of this old amdgpu-pro driver. Even if the ppd is less, I know that every ROCm version after 4.0 was rock stable, so there won't be any downtime.
Ouch, hopefully you can figure out a good driver version.

Yes, heat much less of a concern at the moment. I remember a while back that three windows client had a pause button which I assumed would pause after current work unit completion. It didn't ever seem to work. Do you know if that is still an issue?
Assuming you mean these buttons:
The Pause will stop folding after the current Frame
The Finish button will stop folding after the entire Work Unit is doneIt has always worked that way for me, but I don't use them super often so you very well could have had a version of the client that didn't work correctly at the time.

Only down side to the old driver I'm running in Linux is that it will randomly crash and not recover, and the only way to get the GPUs back online is a full system reboot. That led to a bit of downtime a few days ago, because I didn't notice that the GPUs had halted until I got home and noticed how cold it was in my office.
Sounds like you need to get an Arduino with a 120 VAC relay and a temperature sensor, or just a relay to control the motherboard power switch input or rest input.
