Yeah, should be an inch beside the PC. The run from slot 2 was 10.5 inches to the desk and under the glass door. I think I'll prop the GPU's up a bit for plug access. Might even flip them so the plugs face me for vr stuff lol Yeah, no.

Well, I ended up settling for these because they had a 50% off promo. (I'm a sucker for sales) Now I'm looking at those splitters and thinking this could expand! I'll have to take a minute and do some math and research, but this whole concept will be an ongoing project of mine. I kind of like the idea! I'm going to get these on Friday though, put 2 in, hook them to the ti's, then see how it all gels. Got 4 because I have another PC that I'll likely do the same thing to when the 3090 arrives.

OP updated. I had to do a bit more measuring.

Got the 3080 in and up today, but I vertical mounted it because it's so pretty. Now I want to build or buy a small GPU desk tray to sit next to the PC so I can get my 1080ti's back up and running. It will have it's own loop independent from the PC to make it portable. 12 inches or roughly 20 cm reaches my desk from the 2nd PCI-e slot in my PC, so looking for 30mm+ risers. If I make it, it would be pieces I can add and subtract to house more or less GPU's as my needs change. Got any good suggestions or parts I should look at? Would love to find something already fabricated and aluminum, because I'd likely be using wood and paint if I do it myself.

Well, I think it's time to distinguish a PC between a cruncher. I almost put the 3080 in with the 1080 ti's, but it was just gonna be tacky. In search of some good risers and a gpu bench.

I have u3berg33k added as a team captain. He will need some folders unless Wondermutt and some of his old TC friends join in. Might be a bit though. Those guys have not visited ocn for 3 or more days I PM'd over there, except u3berg33k. I also requested a Discord Channel and some ETF Roles for all those involved so we can use that for quicker stuff as needed.

@tictocdid you figure out which GPU yet? Might give z a head start on loading the teams and adjusters for 2 teams, but sound like we will have 3 for the test.

Just fold that thing as fast as ya want to, it's a continuous test of the stats. We'll try to get some sort of front-end together for viewing results, but I'm going to tell ask @zodacto make a thread to post updates and progress of the site to let people know how it's going. Please z.

@Zonalo you want to join Out of Beta? They will be full then for the test. Send me your unique passkey assigned to your 1 item you fold which can be a nvidia GPU, AMD GPU, or CPU since you would be in Wildcard. Also, folding name, O/S Windows or Linux, Hardware Model.

You can run it as fast as you can. The adjustment is based on the PPD avg. published on LARS for the O/S you're using.

Ok, if he doesn't respond today, I will reach out to you tomorrow and give you a guide to getting things all setup.

Who has an AMD GPU that can fold on my team if@tenchimuyo93is unable to for our Demo that will start tomorrow at midnight? You'd need to leave it up and folding for the entire month until we get 1 test month under our belt to see how the month end reset etc. works. We need to try and at least have 2 full teams ideally for the demo. @Supercrumpetand Kobalt have not responded yet about their teams.
