  1. great song, bookmarked.
  2. I got $30 US off a $175 order using my Discover card on Amazon. Mostly shotgun stuff and a few household supplies. That said, also, not discounted, but a new toy showed up two days early:
  3. What we listened to back in the first half of the '70s... ...and I quote the first comment following the second video above: Happy Thanksgiving, All!
  4. I opted to pick up the deluxe version of Alan Wake 2 using the current discount.
  5. I feel for you, but see it slightly differently. By that, I mean OCN was no longer OCN from a certain point in time in VD's (Vertical Dope's) ownership. VD could care less about who subscribes to what in its forums and is only interested in profit. How I feel about VD now...
  6. I'll be putting last year's model up for sale once I receive this one.
  7. Steam 2023 Autumn Sale starts in 13 hours, 38 minutes.
  8. @Memmento Mori If they're collecting those automatic $5 monthly payments via Paypal and you haven't disabled those automatic payments yet, you can disable those automatic payments via your Paypal account. Let us know if you need to know how to do that. OTOH, if they're collecting those payments via a credit or debit card, contact the card vendor and tell them to stop paying those payments. If this is the case, me, I'd be requesting a new card. While you're at it (whether a Paypal acct or a credit card acct), see if you can get at least some of those payments back.
  9. probably wouldn't get past the sensors
  10. If you're looking to pick up an OLED monitor, try to do so via a vendor that offers some sort of guaranty against burn-in. I think that's currently only Dell and Best Buy, but there might be more. Additionally, make sure to check customer reviews at any vendor you might go with. Read through the lower ratings, it's not all that difficult to separate the chaff from the wheat. Some issues will stand out more than others. Good luck hunting...!
  11. They helped make me the man I am today...
  12. I just sent them 30 Quid; bumping this ttt.
  13. You might want to make sure that code is cleared using your reader; just because the light is out, doesn't necessarily mean the code has been cleared from the computer. i've got a code that's been stuck in the computer now for a number of years, but doesn't trigger the light. my truck still passes inspection annually though because NY apparently allows one uncleared code (per my mechanic ).
  14. I had the Streamlight 69889 TLR-1 HL. It definitely put out a lot of light, but its battery compartment cover was a very weak link (fell apart as soon as I took it off). I replaced it with the green dot version of what follows, which I'm very happy with thus far:
  15. If that doesn't work, here's a couple of other inexpensive things to try: Be sure to go to Youtube and expand the OP's comments directly under the video (click on 'more' )
  16. it's typically not a matter of if, but more so one of when...
