Prizes are nice but i really do not think the ones that folded was doing it just for the prizes. Save the prizes for a later contest when we have more participation. It was a very nice gesture to put up the prizes though Pio. Much respect Sir!!

Well I am bummed. Started the client, changed the team to HW. Finished a wu and saw no points to HW. After some head scratching checked TPU stats and they got the credit even tho my client says HW. Will run 1 more if it doesnt change I will fire up a different comp for HW. Sorry guys.

Well then if he lacks self awareness like you say then how can he be embarrassing himself? Oh wait OTHERS think he is embarassing himself. I do not understand why you guys are ragging on Elon. Elon does what Elon does and is the richest, most successful man in the world. I believe what what I have read that all sales of new vehicles are down right now. Ford is losing money hand over fist on evs. Cold weather? All evs will deplete faster and have less power. Rivian is cutting back production. Just Google Rivian problems. All evs have problems. Cold weather, not enough charging stations, battery replacements are very expensive, and what do we do with the batteries when they die. Elon said it best. Take away the government (taxpayer) funding and see which companies survive. Elon picked Shotwell to run Space X, so if he picked her then he must still be the man in charge??? This thread started with Elon and gaming, now it has morphed into something else. 

I am sure that Elon is not one bit embarrassed. Asmongold plays games. Not impressive to me. Elon builds rockets and electric cars and the richest person in the world. Very impressive.

Read the article and its a political hit piece, They are going after him as they do Trump. I've met many online who consider themselves gaming gods. Do I care? Nope. I believe Elon has earned the right to do whatever he wants. Legal things of course. He would not be the first one that lets others play his toons. I would think the gaming community would consider it a good thing that a guy that has done so many things is himself a gamer.

You guys better check your identities cause someone is using a 4090 maybe with my identity. Not complaining at all but theres no way I can put up the numbers that are showing up. Wished I could afford a 4090 but bank account says no way. Thank you to whomever is doing that.

I agree, this site and community are great and the foldathons were something I looked forward to every month. I brought it up at TPU but it doesn't seem like they are interested in doing it.

Yes Sir I know who you are! I started folding for TPU back when 8800 gt. 9800. and 9600 gso cards were the ticket - that I could afford. I had 1 bedroom that was empty that I had motherboards on empty boxes folding 24 - 7. I had a 600 dollar electric bill 1 month and had to cut back some. Buck was the King back then. I noticed when he came back that interest went up. I believe that the guys folding over there were 24-7 guys that were doing crunching also. Those guys are just not watching the forums. I will get hold of them and see if we can drum up some interest in the Foldathons. I am sure there will be. They are a bunch of great people and I guess why I was happy over here because the interest was up. Get interest up at TPU and make it great again.

In for the last hurrah then back to TPU to watch Big Red pass me a ludicrous speed. I have to admit that of all the teams I have folded for this was the most fun. Crazy numbers for the people involved. Thanks to all of you and a special thanks to Damric for getting me involved here. May you all have a happy and sucessful life.

I am in. Starting the 2080 now since i have been late on the last 2.

What kinda ppd do you get from the 4060? How much power used?

I am in. Finally figured out the easy way to get my 2080 to use less power folding. Watching videos on how to undervolt by changing curves were confusing to me and not working very well. My 6800XT was so easy to undervolt and only using 130 watts. The 2080 was stuck on 220 watts. I opened afterburner and moved the power limit slider all the way to the left clicked apply and power dropped to 140 watts. PPD went from 3.3 to 3.15 million. Happy camper here with hotter weather starting.
