I had a 14951 that slowed me down. A 18213 sped things up.

tictoc nailed it. Dumped the first wu at 2.4 million and second wu jumped to 4.8. Feeling better now.
-
I was consistant 4.5 million on 22.7.1. Using the newest driver and I do believe it is crap. Will change back after this wu and see.

Is anyone folding with a 6800 or 6900 radeon? Seems my ppd has dropped 2 million from the older driver.

Working now I believe but site is laughing at me. Submitted a run, looked at submitted runs on team page and see no interesting runs submitted today. LOL. It took the submission with no pic. It came straight from 3D Mark. Should i run the 5700 XT? I am just not sure if each piece of hardware counts or just the high scores for the category. Sorry for all the questions.

Guys i went looking thru boxes and found some old stuff. Got a 754 amd socket mb with a stick of ram and it HAD a cpu on it but in the move the cooler came off and many many pins were bent so i ordered another cpu tonight of fleabay. The only 4x agp card i have is an old nvidia so no help there. Got plenty of 8x agp cards. Found a 939 board and cpu. Found a 462 socket board with cpu. No clue whats under the cooler until I fire it up, thats even if any of them fire up. So not much help from me. Excited to play around with this old stuff tho. I got an old Compaq with windows 3.1 on it. Nice fps on solitaire. A couple 3DFX cards, a matrox card and Real3D card. Still looking for more stuff. I know I have some old ram somewhere. I was wanting to play but I guess not.

Hadn't checked on the rigs at all but remoted into them a bit ago. (Lots of zooming in attempting this from my phone ). Found the GPU slot failed on the 2080. I'm not sure how long that was down for.
@mx500torid what all hardware are you running? We finished super close. IIRC we were really close in 24hour average last month too. Either way, good job
Well my room got really hot lol. 6800 XT, 5700 XT, 2080, 980 Ti, and I did 3 wu on my laptop 1060. We were neck and neck though. Fun times!!

I dont know much about this stuff but why are the core temps all over the place if they are all at 6 GHZ? Why would they not be the same? The desktop is in english and the cpuz is in Japanese or something. Wouldnt they be the same language? Yes call me skeptical.

I wish my finances permitted folding 24-7 but those days are gone sorry to say. I was impressed with the 6800 xt. Never missed a beat. I ran 1 wu on the laptop just to see and the 1060m did pretty good too, 730k ppd. So the weekend was a success for me personally. Room sure got hot . Sure nice to scratch that old folding itch every now and then.

My 5700 xt did have the same problem random black screens about a year ago.. Changed cable didnt help. Different hdmi port fixed it for me. Glad you got it figured out.

https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/amd-software-adrenalin-edition-22.7.1-win10-win11-july26.exe Looks like they fixed it for 6 series cards doesnt help my 5700 tho. 5700 still at 1.6 ppd but 6800 went from 1.6 to 4.6 million ppd!! Just in time for the Challenge.

You might be hitting power limits because of the faster VRAM. You could try downclocking that a bit and see if it helps, or just raise the power limit.
Did that undervolted 1050 and power limit is 15%. It runs faster undervolted around 2350. Anything more and I lose performance. It will run 2550 but scores tumble well on Time Spy they drop.

I'll draw the prizes when I put the kids in bed tonight.
I will try this on the new build. I cant do that on the 6800 cause of the game I play. Feels good to be folding again even if just a little. Thx guys for the replies.

Are you capped at the 5mb on the visible hotspot or is that the max you can get on your phone? Just wondering cause I use visible and I reset ttl and I get no 5mb cap on my phone hotspot now. Connect to my main comp then turn on mobile hotspot in windows to connect my other comps.

Thought I would try to make up for the 13 hours my internet was down, so I fired up the 5700XT and 6800 XT and found out that they both get virtually the same PPD!! 1.6 Mil. Thought the 6 series would do better. Anyway also found out that if your new win 10 install is not updated that the 5700 will do 500k. Took me awhile to figure that one out. I wonder if they might do better on Linux. If anyone has any knowledge of that I would appreciate it. So the radeons each did 1 wu and I stopped them. Room was getting rather warm. Amazing the 2080 beats them both together.
