  1. I've got an open box EVGA 2080ti XC GAMING that I could probably let go to the right person at a reasonable price (~$1000 plus insured shipping to the lower 48 for the card and the WaterCool Heatkiller waterblock for it). It's been more than three years since I bought the card so the warranty is up on it, but I could plug it in and make sure it works before shipping it out. Please note that I prefer not to sell it to someone who plans to turn it around and scalp it for a profit. I also won't sell it to someone who doesn't come recommended by someone else here. No ifs, ands, or butts about that. If there's an interest for it I'll work up an official for sale post for it.
  2. personally, i would've liked to have seen you toss a cow at him.
  3. ^careful, he'll throw a cow at you.

    Hello

Welcome to the best kept secret since the advent of sliced bread. I'm old, grouchy, and fairly direct, myself; not sure about my lawn, but I've got a dungeon I don't chase visitors out of.
  5. Too many instances of me calling someone stupid or a moron. Nothing that bad really, it just adds up when you keep on doing it lol
  6. Hey now! I still have my OCN login, it's just banned
  7. We've got plenty here in rural upstate NY.
  8. The one you linked to is only compatible with 3rd through 10th gen Intel CPUs. The one I bought is essentially the same thing as this, except with the addition of the copper IHS; which is only compatible with 12th gen CPUs (thus far)
  9. It's actually their delid-relid kit, accompanied by a copper IHS; and sure, np, I'll share temps once I get that far.
  10. For the Yuel Beast Atlas II build, which will also house the 3090 KPE with the copper backplate:
  11. Agreed; and I won't be buying it either; nor will I buy a 4090 if pricing continues its upwards trend. There's just too many other things going on right now to be overly worried about what basically amounts to epeen.
  12. No need to say anything--I likes me some early Cooper, especially the Killer LP
  13. . . . and now for something different (a trip through the amusement park): the writ tends to raise the hairs on the back of my neck. not sure why that is: since the first time i heard it back around ca. 1970, i haven't heard a song that's personally more downright troubling: play the next one for oh, say 8-10 seconds, then start the one that follows it, playing both at the same time: and last but not least, a trip through the amusement park (because life can be like that sometimes): brought to you by the gang and others like them at nurse wretched wench's house for the wayward male
  14. Don't think this has been posted here yet, but correct me if I'm wrong. Tom's Hardware: Canadian Price Leak Puts RTX 3090 Ti at a Painful $4,000+ As excerpted: Source.
  15. Needed a new toy. Can't afford it but when has that ever stopped me. That's what credit and bankruptcy is for. Cayin N8ii Master Quality Digital Audio Player SHOP.MUSICTECK.COM Cayin N8ii Master Quality Digital Audio Player • Dual ROHM BD34301EKV DAC, 32Bit/768kHz, DSD512 • Balanced tube...
  16. bant coz that's next to Indiana and north of Misery, right?
  17. If you're running them off Octos, you should be okay.
  18. bant coz i like to think of myself as more of an anachronism than anything else. ancient is old hat.
  19. bant coz i haven't hit 70 yet. (but i am getting there)
  20. Question: are you using the dc or pwm controlled version? If the pwm controlled version, are you running them off any AquaComputer contollers/active splitty9s? Only asking because all my SW3s are pwm, and hooked up via a mix of AquaComputer controllers which mitigate certain issues associated with the pwm SW3s. Notably the pwm pulse amplitude needed to run the pwm versions properly (ref., adv. reading: pwm pullup & pulldown resistance). BeQuiet didn't follow the pwm spec when it designed the pwm versions of their fans and built mitigating circuitry into the fan controllers in their cases instead. The dc voltage controlled versions don't experience the iissue of course.
  21. Let me look through my spare stuff, I should have two old model AC flow meters and a MPS, if I can find them all you're welcome to the older
  22. Yeah, but unfortunately, Performance PCs and I had a falling out a few years back over a shipment they sent to the wrong address in Southern NY, even after I repeatedly told them to correct the address. The items ended up getting delivered to that incorrect address and I filed a chargeback because I needed to reorder the same items from someone else. So they got teed (the lady in their shipping dept. at the time) and they locked my account down. That's after I had done thousands in business with them over the years. Their loss, I've spent big money since that time with other businesses. Just makes it a little harder for me to get what I want/need occasionally. I'm also a strong believer in fool me once yada, yada, yada, and really can't stand piss poor service like that. Meanwhile, the two radiators that I ordered are being shipped by Amazon, but sold from Performance PCs' in-Amazon Warehouse stock, which I'm okay with simply because that's where I can get them from without having to actually deal with the seller directly myself.
