    Nice!

Well if you and @damricwant to port over any of your prior written guides, that is great. When you guys are ready, let me know and I will give you access to the Drafts for our FAQ write ups 🙂

I found 3 of them still in existence at THW, but only 1 is still relevant. That one has lost all of the embedded images, so I will need to redo the whole thing really. But it's a good one about breadboarding so definitely going to give it to EHW.

  2. oof. about 10-12 years ago I wrote quite a few of tutorials for tomshardware. Then the site got purchased again and they went into the dumpster. I'll see if I can dig them up. If they still exist, I'll reword and update them. There were quite a few good ones for generic troubleshooting.

I have no experience with an actual camera.  However I use "Droid Dashcam" on my Android phone and it appears to have stabilization built into it.  My phone bounces around really bad on its dash mount, and my dash cam footage always seems smooth enough.  Maybe there's an iPhone version of dash cam software out there you can try maybe?  Not sure if that'd eliminate enough of your bounces on a bike though.

I also have android. I'll try that "Droid Dashcam" next time I ride (probably tomorrow) and see how it goes. I'm constantly hitting a lot of bumps, lots of gravel and roots, and pretty fast like up over 25mph sometimes on the steep declines. When flat I'm around 12-15 mph but still very shaky with all the bumps. Going back up the hills is where I get a good workout.

  4. So I have a handlebar clip for my phone. I usually just use it to control my music going to my speaker which I mount in one of my water bottle cages. Ear buds or headphones are not possible when I'm bouncing down trails, so I just blast my music loud. But anyway yesterday I got the idea that I might be able to record video using my phone on the same mount. It was pretty terrible quality because of the shaking and bouncing of riding down the trail. I tried using my phone's software to stabilize it but it didn't really help. Although the recording was failure, it peaked my interest enough that I'm now looking at getting some sort of GoPro or something with better stabilization software. Also I'm thinking either a chest or helmet mount might be better than my handlebars for the actual camera (that also gives me a reason to wear my helmet or maybe a shirt 🙂

I think I want to go cheap on this (for now), but I'd want at least like 1080p and 60FPS, 120FPS is possible as I think that might look smoother. I want to make first person clips for youtube, ect. I'm ok with off-brand stuff direct from China if it works alright.

Anyone experienced in this sort of thing?

Folding is stressful on hardware, and will often break an overclock unless it's been tested with folding. I do not recommend overclocking high end GPUs as the power draw can be extreme while folding. If anything, try tuning for energy efficiency. Casualties happen and EXTREMEHW can not be held accountable if you destroy your hardware while folding.

No errors on the 7900GRE this whole time, either. Only the MI25s and the R5 5600 'spat out' bad WUs at any point. (and that'd been corrected yesterday)

At this point, I'm assuming my Name and CodeKey is 'cursed' (low-reliability listed?)

Next comp, I'll be switching to my other 'handle' of LRK-GT, and use a diff. email for a fresh codekey.

    Well let's see.

    1st key combo is flawless

2nd just needs 6 more WU to get bonus

    3rd is flawless

    4th is FUBAR

I was looking forward to the 9 month long foldathon!  I think it's still says 72 hour instead of the 48 hours that we are having this month.

lmao 2 found and fixed. If we can find a 3rd I'll get naked! So yeah I was very much in a rush when I posted the foldathon. Lower back killing me, and as soon as I stumbled over to my computer I got accosted by at least 5 people and two dogs. Yeah so I got away without a proof read. Then I hit up a bottle of some dark rum. I think I got enough in me to quick take a shower before the buzz wears off and I remember this back pain 😛

What's the expectations on turn-around and 'process' for US customers?

I'm in need of a new mousepad / deskmat (accidentally melted my SteelSeries w/ Acetone, while cleaning a GPU 😑)

2-3 weeks is what I have been seeing for mugs and hats that I've been giving out in foldathons. Will know hopefully soon for the deskmats and shirts that I ordered, but I would expect at least 2 weeks because they have to print them.

Yeah poly/dry fit for shirts is preferred actually where I live since humidity plus yeah the print should last longer as well. But I only wear my printed shirts for special occasions so that they last longer anyway.

I am currently around 1750 set for about 1720-1750 get. and 1150 hbm. and I am doing about 350w core power. SO probably 450w total board power. But I have loads of thermal headroom. 45c core and 60c hotspot. So I want to crank the voltages and I know that the SPP tables tent to take priority over the BIOS with Vega.  So I want to eek as much out of the old girl as I can as I don't WANT to upgrade right now. I'm voting with my wallet. I won't support nvidia's scumbaggery with the 40 series, I don't like that AMD has blocked enthusiast overclocking on RDNA 3 by blocking the RBT and MPT tools. So I am sitting on my Vega HOPING that Battlemage brings something fun to play with. Because Alchemist is pretty overclockable from what I can tell. And I am hoping a second or third gen GPU from Intel by the time it comes out will have most of the kinks ironed out.

Yeah man I hate that the newer cards don't OC really. The RDNA 2 cards do with MPT though. You will probably enjoy those.

But yeah my Vega 64 couldn't do much for the HBM, and it was limited to 1.2v on core.

  11. I'll try and find my old tables where I basically unlimited the power and current. They are probably on a flash drive or disk in the office so might take some digging. If I can't find them, I'll link you the method I used to change the hex values. The trick is finding the right ones to change. When my water was very cold I could sustain 1800MHz for a lot of benches, but power draw was north of 450W.

No factual points of reference but, I'd assume the 4oz is more like a 'Wal*Mart Graphic Tee' and 6oz more like a nice Fruit of the Loom or Gildan T-shirt.

yeah I was wondering if it was that. @neurotix didn't you say your shirt was dry fit poly? which one did you select?
