so, its been 10 years, but i was able to root my android phone and get tethering for free with no cap. I cant exactly remember how i did it, but basically it took the regular incoming cell signal and fed it out without reporting tethering or hotspot on to the provider. so you're using "unlimited phone data" instead.

the only reason i'd sway against amd would be folding production. price per ppd just aint there, I'd also love to find another evga x79 dark, and throw a bunch of gpus at it.

@Avacado since this bios is flashed , can we actually add these few mhz? im switching to ubuntu on the 980 machine and i want to keep the oc. should i just run it with the bios thats on it currently? should i try coolbits at it?

to be honest, i didnt really try to pursue pushing this card any further when afterburner didnt work, so its a fresh slate when dealing with limits. thank you for the time you're putting in for me
