Really glad they dropped this, however I have a feeling gamers are going to be dealing with this kind of nonsense more and more.

I don't understand how NFT's would be incorporated into a game or how it would effect game play.

Just as an example, I think any "achievements" in a game could become an NFT. Really almost anything could be made into an NFT so long as it can be sold with a digital tag.

Your example doesn't seem too bad...as long as buying NFT's doesn't become another form of micro transactions in a "Pay to Win" scenario.

Ubisoft recently started adding NFTs into their games as well. These things are infecting the gaming community like... some kind of virus.

I mean what even is that. I'll be honest, kinda lost on "NFT's", but then seems like that's everyone, hence the backlash.
