NVIDIA upscaling technologies will soon enter a new dimension, online video streaming will soon be improved with the power of RTX graphics. The company announced that RTX Video Super Resolution will unlock up to 4K AI upscaling with Chrome and Edge Internet browsers.

Google has just released a new early stable version of Chrome (110.0.5481.77), which is now available to a small percentage of users and will see broader release on February 7th (i.e. the actual release).

According to the official changelog, Chrome 110 already supports this technology, but it will still need a new driver to work. Furthermore, it is now confirmed that RTX VSR will only work if enabled by users manually through NVIDIA Control Panel. It will not be enabled by default.
