Non-hacked Universal USB receiver that may work on any 2.4Ghz keyboard & mouse?

Sup all, may you advise on where to buy Non-hacked Universal USB receiver that may work on any 2.4Ghz keyboard & mouse?

 

I need a non-hacked Microsoft 1000 keyboard mouse universal receiver.

Unfortuneately, MSFT does not utilize anything similar to Logitech's Unifying technology. 
The USB Wireless Dongle is permanently paired to the set, and visa-versa.

There may be ways around this, I've never run across them, in 2+ decades. (Closest I've seen, was some RF Hobbyist work in mapping the keyboard. IIRC, even old 'basic' keyboards have some rudimentary encryption, too)

 

I'm not sure about the 'hacked' vs. 'not hacked' part... but that indentation on many cables and dongles is from manufacturing.
It's a crimp to keep the plug assembly held together, IIRC.
