    Part of my New Year New Games challenge to myself, EctorPlays and Ord's Sim Channel invited me to play Star Citizen with them.  So, I went ahead and picked up a copy and gave it a try.  Well, you'll see what happens. -_-
     
    EP 03 - Third Time's the Charm - W in Chat!
    We tried to do an episode on Bunker Busting previously and had some issues with "sharing" the missions, and ended up wasting an entire stream trying to play instead of just playing.  So today, enjoy our THIRD attempt at playing Star Citizen together!  They do say third time's the charm.  Join us while we do some more mining, special guest star in the chat, and yet ANOTHER special guest at the end of the episode.  You don't want to miss this one!

  5. Z690 Dark Memory Initial Stability Tuning 8000 MT/s with 48GB DDR5 Kit

    The 24GB A-die modules require looser timings and lower voltage on both the Z690 Dark and Z790 Apex. If you have been successful with 8000+ memory overclocking using 16GB A-die modules, you will likely find your system will not boot using the same settings with the 24GB modules. CPU VDD2, VDDQ and VDIMM had to be lowered and SA voltage increased and tRFC increased on both of my systems.  Oddly enough, tCKE had to be lower to 6 (from a default value of 30) to get the 24GB modules stable on the Dark. The Apex uses 33 for tCKE.

  9. Subzero benching an MSI RX5700XT

    My first succesful subzero run with a GPU.
    This is an MSI RX5700XT with unlocked power and clocks. The memory hates life cold, so I had to drop around 150mhz compared to my watercooled run. 
    I'm thinking about getting some memory heaters to solve issues like that for future runs.

    Audio interfaces are not a completely new concept, but ones that surely make it less difficult to do something that’s frequently cumbersome, are few and a long way off. So Creative set out to make an audio interface that's easy to use on the fly. Creative has made some DAC/AMP combos that get within striking distance, like the Sound Blaster X3 (holds up the X3). Where the X3 falls short is quick changes which you would do in game. The X3 nonetheless has the ability to do the same  as the GC7, however it’s easier to do with the GC7.

    Who better to design a great case fan than the innovative and forward-thinking case manufacturer, InWin, Wait! Didn’t I do that introduction already? Today I have 2 new and completely different case fans from InWin, the Sirius Pure and the Sirius Loop. As 120mm case fans go, these are lookers with the performance to back it up. So, at the risk of humming that Michael Jackson/Bill Bottrell song: It don't matter if you're black or white. Let's see what we find.     Hey guys, Ryan here with ExtremeHW. Today I am gonna build an Intel PC that’s not the most extreme, but still has some decent horsepower. ASRock was kind enough to send over their new H570 Steel Legend motherboard to use for this build, as well as Be Quiet! with their 500DX high airflow, compact ATX case. be quiet! also sent over a few new offerings, a new gold rated PSU, the Pure Power 11 FM at 650 watts, and cooling the CPU is going to be Be Quiet’s Pure Rock Slim 2, which has a 92mm fan and a high TDP of 130 watts. Well today, in 2021, I am gonna take another look at this innovative gaming headset. Stay with me.   So what makes a gaming headset a gaming headset? Headphones plus a mic right? Yeah, but Creative set out to make the SuperXFi Gamer a little bit different from the rest of the other gaming headsets on the market. They injected their award winning SuperXFi holographic audio technology into the Gamer headset.
