This is a simple, easy alternative for getting your waterblocks ready for storage. If your waterblock isn't filthy, this method can be used in lieu of a complete disassembly.

My first succesful subzero run with a GPU. This is an MSI RX5700XT with unlocked power and clocks. The memory hates life cold, so I had to drop around 150mhz compared to my watercooled run.  I'm thinking about getting some memory heaters to solve issues like that for future runs.

The 24GB A-die modules require looser timings and lower voltage on both the Z690 Dark and Z790 Apex. If you have been successful with 8000+ memory overclocking using 16GB A-die modules, you will likely find your system will not boot using the same settings with the 24GB modules. CPU VDD2, VDDQ and VDIMM had to be lowered and SA voltage increased and tRFC increased on both of my systems.  Oddly enough, tCKE had to be lower to 6 (from a default value of 30) to get the 24GB modules stable on the Dark. The Apex uses 33 for tCKE.

Today I received an MSI HD2600XT 512Mb DDR3 card for the team cup. I cleaned the GPU and recorded this video of me checking out the card and possible voltmod options.

  This kind of stuff is way beyond me, but very interesting. It's crazy to think the coding tools today can enable one guy to do so much optimization on a first party N64 game. Crazy to realize how much Nintendo was missing back then. 

Came across this, thought it was interesting.     

Saw this video on Jayz page and thought,"Hmm,alot of people here are always talking about their fans and controlling them and have like oodles of them..." This seemed like a really comprehensive piece of software that did fans and pumps and was free so I figured I'd post it on here for ya's to ck out. 🙂   Link to the software on github is in the youtube comments.

Just a quick test of RSR on Metro Enhanced which does not have FSR support. IMO RSR works really well in Meteo, it tends work better in games with a lot of contrast.
