  1. Source It's nice that they've actually starting accepting pre-orders now. It's a pretty good price as well compared to the Index. Rift S is still cheaper, but it's also much worse overall, at least specs-wise.
  2. Oh no, I don't actually have social media and I don't live in Canada or the US. But good luck to those who do.
  3. Source It's about time there's a proper UI update for Steam to drag it out of the 00s. I am using the beta and I do really like how it looks. The only real issue I have with it, is that it's a bit slow at the moment, but I'm sure they'll fix it by the time the final release is ready.
  4. Nice, now you can text and drive without any issues.
  5. Little over £2K for the 55 inch model and LG recently lost a class action lawsuit with burn in on their OLED TVs in Australia. I wouldn't have bought this over a montior that was already on the market. If you drop the price by at least £1000, make it IPS instead of OLED then maybe I'd consider getting one to replace my now 8 year old 1080p TV that I'm using as a primary monitor.
  6. I don't really mind the bezel tbqhwyfam. It is a bit on the chunky side but I'd say they're fine.
  7. He's not a fake doctor. He spent several cents to print out his PhD. And he knows it's real because he printed it out himself.
  8. https://www.cnet.com/how-to/apple-event-2019-iphone-11-pro-watch-series-5-apple-arcade-pad-and-everything-announced/ Pretty big event if you're an Apple fan. I don't really care too much about their things apart from iPhones. And I'm glad they did drop the price of the iPhone in the UK, it's not by much but it's still cheaper.
  9. Yeah, that was a really good race. It's nice that since France, there's been nothing but good races. In unrelated news, Pork has a mid-engined race car, Corvette have a mid-engined car. And now, Honda has a front-engined NSX https://www.motorsport.com/supergt/news/honda-front-engined-nsx-class-one/4538715/ Everything is all backwards.
  10. I like how the thumbnail has what looks like clickbait with the car there along with "Apple autonomous car" above it, but both are relevant.
  11. It's an old tiny Fiat. If someone wants to steal something from it, they'll just pick the car up and walk away with it.
  12. I do completely understand why Facebook keep getting targeted for these attacks, but the things is, this is now the fourth, maybe fifth time there has been a data breach where this type of information is leaked/published. The first time it happens, it's "okay" but after that, you'd think they'd stop storing this type of data in plain text.
  13. The G29 is the biggest pile of turd Logitech has ever made. There's a reason why used G27s are selling for more than new G29s. I shouldn't have sold my G27 when I had it, then I could have incrementally upgraded it to a Fanatec Clubsport wheel. You'd be better off buying a used T300RS than a new G29. If I can get my G29 fixed, I'll most likely start iRacing again from Monday, or maybe Tuesday because that's when the track rotations are.
  14. It's an old Fiat. OTR price of those when they were new was £6200 (£9700 adjusted for inflation). Those were built to be as cheap as possible, so they have no luxuries at all. Not even a glovebox, instead you get a hole in the dashboard. There are some pros to it being made as cheap as possible, primarily the weight of the car which gives it really good handling. The top of the range model weighs 750kg. For reference, the average family hatchback at the time (Ford Focus) weighs 1250kg. Here's a video showing these cars driving on the limit. The only modifications they have is a roll cage and they replaced the driver seat with a racing seat for safety reasons. EDIT: The more I see this, the more I want to buy it. I just had a look at the tyre price and these are the expensive ones. The cheap ones are £25 each For reference, my bicycle has
  15. The problem with that is if you want to create an account now, you have to use your phone number. You can't just put a generic number in either, it has to be a mobile number so they can text you a verification code. I don't really want Facebook to have my phone number at all. Not to mention the other data leaks they have.
  16. Source I honestly have no idea why people still use Facebook. They've had several serious privacy breaches over the last 3 years.
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYhZQZiXANo New track, new cars, new tyre model and new damage model. Pretty big update this time. Only issue with the damage model that I have is I now have to avoid debris and idiots instead of just idiots.
  18. No idea. They're geared are/were 380 km/h so it could be done without gearing issues if it hasn't changed. It does seem like it has changed for 2019, a lot of the cars seem to be on the RPM limit at top speed in 8th.
  19. https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/145755/mercedes-ferrari-both-have-monza-engine-worries I suspect Renault does as well. Honda don't seem to care.
  20. Source This is one of those "Technically correct, but ..." things. Either way, I'm actually surprised at this. I didn't think there was that much of a market for APUs.
